Re: 2014/15 Kit Thread
The collars on those Madrid kits just seems a bit odd for football jerseys. I can deal with the pink (it's bad, but it's for better or worse we've seen it before and even recently) but the collars are a sticking point for some reason.

I agree with Tom. That shade of pink would even make some girls cringe.

I ordered barkley red kit over the weekend, was going to throw a reus dortmund in there too but they didn't have my size
my friend has that USA away kit with Bradley on it...looks pretty great, did you know that the 3 colours are actually separate panels of material, not one single piece.

Re: 2014/15 Kit Thread
Oh wow I had no idea. That's pretty cool I guess. I didn't get Dempsey on the back of mine. I just got my own name. That was the smallest pic I clicked on google
But I did get my main man Reus. That German kit looks brilliant. Hopefully it arrives in the next week so I'll have it in time for the WC.
And I was hoping to get an England kit as well but they are both terribly simple. Both home and away felt like overpriced tees.

Re: 2014/15 Kit Thread
No idea what our kits are going to look like, want to buy one but might just end up waiting for Adidas after next season to see what they can do. I'd like to imagine they'll put some effort into it considering it's a debut kit.
Yellow top was ok this season, my problem was it looks better as part of the full kit but I don't ever ever wear full kits.

Supposedly this is on the back of our training kits
WTF is that THAT?
I hope it's some fan just having a laugh trolling and photoshopped it.

I HIGHLY doubt Red is offended as quite frankly he has not shown being offended by anything in this forum. His point is highlighting the isolated criticism almost by default thrown at Warrior, whereas other companies of the same if not higher stature are ignored. The latter point I am not exempt from either, admittedly.
Stark difference between taking offence and pointing out the unfair criticism of a sports manufacturer.
What the *bleep* are you on about now?!
What's unfair about the criticism towards Warrior's output. It's fair criticism, those are people's opinions. Just because RedOranje gets upset and offended at people calling out the dross Warrior produce, are people then obliged to go through the entire *bleep* catalogue of Adidas, Nike, Puma, etc. and pick out their crap shirts as so someone on a football forum won't take it personal?
If Warrior didn't produce Liverpool's kits (which incidentally aren't that bad this year, except the 3rd) he'd have no compulsion to snap at M99 like a spoilt brat.
Again, comprehension is failing you.
Red's point highlights how only Warrior seems to be the focal point of criticism whereas others sports manufacturers such as Macron, Diadora, Surridge Sports and lately Adidas, never seem to receive the same form chastisement as Warrior does.
The kits are atrocious (Liverpool, Sevilla, Porto), you'd be aware of my criticism of Warrior since they signed with Liverpool, sparking a 3 year joust between Red and I within the same topic. Yet, he IS correct that Warrior by default is too scrutinized singularly.
Nothing wrong with that.Tomas wrote:No need, here's a recent pic
Recent pic of the Juve Hannah Montana Star jersey? Why post that?
- 2014/15 My Little Pony Real Madrid Away Shirt:
Somehow I have a feeling Cristiano had a tremendous input in this.
They do, although I can see if there's a personal agenda involved certain people will deliberately ignore it.
And, again, I know English isn't your first language, but you need to stop using words you think make you look clever, but are used incorrectly and in the wrong context.
Good boy.

rwo power wrote:One silly question - don't the clubs have a say in the kit design, too? Or do they have to suffer everything the outfitters give them without complaint? If not, then you might want to have a talk with the people at the club who decide which kits are used.Zealous wrote:The Adidas stripes suck and have gotten extremely boring. Also we have to suffer all the colours of the rainbow that are not our traditional colours. Neon green, dark green orange, magenta, hell even the black is pushing it imo. To top it all off we always get ridiculous fonts as well.
Real Madrid's colours are All white home kit, purple and gold for the away and third kits. I don't mind the away kits being a bit funky but the home kit needs to be respected.
The Adidas stripes have to be there, I'm 100% sure the club has no say on that.
Also Adidas pay us a lot of money yearly (the only reason we stuck with them when our contract with them was almost over) so we may not have a say on the matter of how the kit actually looks.
