Capitano Inler sent off with a yellow/red as its been deserved and overdue.

Highly irresponsible from Inler.

78 minutes at the moment.

Insigne off as Behrami comes on to add defensive steel to the Napoli structure.

Man of the match performance from Lorenzinho as brilliant brace aside, created much for Napoli and was an absolute livewire on the touchline.

Hope Viola score to even it.

Matri creates a chance for Illicic who is one-on-one with Pepe and the Slovenian curls it wide and I cannot believe he has missed that.

Overratedicic.

Matri every time in his brief appearances has looked dangerous under Montella and even scored a few goals for them. Yet that always was the mark of Ale, does many things right and looks dangerous, yet simply does not score enough.

As for Shiticic, anyone being bought from Palermo end up flopping.

1-3 Napoli and the Neapolitans in Curva Nord explode.

Mertens sent through on the counter of Fiorentina's high pressing attack as he drives a low shot past Neto wonderfully.

Very unlucky for Neto, Montella and Fiorentina who were much better than Napoli post Insigne brace.

No, I don't believe that is true. I'm informed that his last-gasp goals in the UEFA Cup from him, which got them to the final, has bestowed upon him legendary status.

Fascinating scenes in the Olimpico.

Ultras invade the pitch at the whistle and tell the players how and when to celebrate, Mertens taken off the pitch via security and Neapolitan fans not celebrating at all deliberately.

Robes, why do they choose not to celebrate?

Completely forgot about that incident.

Very impressed with the post-game reactions of the Fiorentini given their loss yet their voice and flag is still raised high.

Very good match and the most tactical final since Roma-Inter 2-1 2008.

Polizia confirm no one has died involved in the clashes. Thank goodness.

Napoli team won't even lift the trophy. Way too much influence by the Ultras here.

Fiorentini are always admirable for their support to club , even when Fiorentina was in C2 because of bankrupt . They lived worst moment in last 10 years so they will pass also this disappontment , although their fasting lasts for 13 years.

The match  has been enjoyable, it was opened till 92' , the only regret is the Cuadrado's absence, it would have been even more beautiful to watch this match with  2 best possible startings .

Eventually it won the best squad , but honour to Fiorentina.

Agreed. One of the reasons I always had a soft spot for Fiorentina despite a distaste for their inhabitants.

He is a little cynical on the current Calcio view yet he is correct on this. Ultra Tifosi are a part of Calcio yet the control they have and the influence over the FIGC is simply unacceptable.

I prefer this format of final more than double-final . It must be confirmed, it is much more intense so, although I would avoid to put the Italy anthem if there are Napoletani in stadium Laughing
and probably I 'd discuss if it must be always in Roma, probably the Spanish solution is that better of all.
then  I've never understood those who tend to snub the Coppa Italia, it is capable to offer great and spectacular matches ( as it was  this year with Roma and Napoli) , or it can give incredible history as the Roma derby last year ( Laziali still are celebrating this Laughing) , luckily Fiorentini and Napoletani can't do it because it is the their easier title to win.
Bad day for Premier Renzi, Fiorentina fan and Italy Premier, I can image his embarrassment when the whole stadium booed the anthem , and the disappointment for the defeat
But anyway I can image that he will have most serious problems to think about

Mostly just Neapolitans who show this attitude towards the Coppa Italia and Tricolori and they love to find a reason to rebel. It was mostly just the Curva Nord holding Napoli tifosi whistling and even more given the tense situation occurring around the Olimpico. Coppa Italia is either black and white in terms of support; but I see many more in favour who hold it in prestige.

Spanish solution is worse. You'll see thousands upon thousands raising the Ikurriña and Senyera flag along with the commotion yet all will go on as if nothing happened along with our King's presence or the official actions. Like in Italia, its always a drama within the Copa Del Rey final.

Agreed with your thought . just a  thing ,  as Spanish solution I meant to choose a neutral stadium for final, and not regardless Roma.
for example in 2010 I remember Roma-Inter played in Roma . Real didn't play in Bernabeu . Now yes, it was neutral stadium but if there is possibility to change I am sure they would have not chosen Roma considering the hatred Napoletani / Roma - Lazio ultras  , and infact it was an ambush by Roman fans to Napoletani . Fiorentina had nothing to do it with it, on the other hand they are very passional but also correct
