Benzema was a monster. Stepped up and lead every single attack. Created space for Bale to dominate that RW. Got Isco into attack. Created the goal for Illarra and nearly scored a banger himself

Madrid are not a team worth of Spain's 3rd spot, it will be one of those unjust football moments if Barcelona win the league over Atletico or Real.

So i guess beating Real Sociedad excuses them of losing both games against Barcelona, and drawing/losing against atletico madrid?

In the first few months of La Liga Madrid didnt even know which formation to play, and Barcelona totally deserved that first classico win.From that point on Madrid has simply been the better and most consistent team.Last classico was pretty much decided on the ref's decisions more than on Barcelona's merits.I would say that the final liga ranking should be 1-Atletico 2-Madrid 3-Barcelona .It will all probably be decided on the final matchday at the Camp Nou.

A team that only manged 1 from 12 points against the big teams (Barca & Atletico) this season, deserves NOTHING!
Referee mistakes deciding the game in 2nd clasico? really? WHAT about Cristina's penalty which was outside the penalty box???? plus, Neymar's penalty was 100% correct...

Barcelona have been great in all the big games this season (Liga & UCL), they've only had some bad performances against the smaller teams...

CR has 6 games: 4 at home [Almeria Osasuna Valencia Espanyol] & 2 away [Valladolid Celta]

Messi has tougher games: 3 at home [Atletico Bilbao Getfae] and 3 away [Granada Elche Villarreal]



But its impressive that he made a great come back from 14 goals behind CR after 21 rounds to 3 behind after 32 rounds in La Liga this season!

Real were beating Barca 3-2 and on track to win the game + wrap up La Liga until an offside Neymar run resulted in a penalty and Ramos being sent off. Such is football   

yet has the same amount of penalties of ronaldo?

Ronaldo missed some games this season too. I really hope that next season they'll avoid injuries (and red cards   )

As much as I love Ganso's post on this matter and it does hold merit to me, if Barcelona win La Liga, they would have deserved and earn the title in the same way both Atletico or Real Madrid would have. As they say, the league table does not lie. I do hope certain forum members would be mature enough to realise that if either of the sides win it.

As for the Clasico, it was decided on the whims of a referee decision but Barcelona still had to play a very in form Real and bested them at home and personally, it was a great match (offensively) from them.

the ref card will always be thrown around which it shouldn't.
Madrid has benefited from the refs this season as much of Barcelona, and some could argue more.
no one deserves anything they don't have, La liga is not like the world cup where only 7 games are played, it is 10 months long, and most definitely not decided by just one or two games.

Agreed. I think most people are just saying this because even last year after being only beating RM once in six meetings most said Barcelona didn't deserve the league title and now the same logic is going around this season for RM, but at the end the table speaks for itself.

It's embarrassing to realize that out of 12 possible points from playing Barca and Atl. Madrid we only got 1.

We can't really say we deserve anything if we couldn't even get a win from either of the top 2 teams of the table.
