He never got a decent chance like sanchez.. thats what pisses me off to no end. the 40mil flop is still rated higher then a hard worker with better technique

Why is sanchez horrible, but compared to afellay who hasn't had nearly as much shocking games as him is suddenly fine? I think you guys just like sanchez more then what he really is.

Why are you so butthurt? He's not Algerian or a Madrid player. I can't see myself get so upset about a player who isn't even related to the team I support or my country. You are going as far as to saying he's far superior to Sanchez, which he clearly is not. In addition, he's 4 years older. Afellay is a good benchwarmer, nothing more.

Spain hasn't seen the real Sánchez. He has shown glimpses of what he's capable of but he hasn't been anywhere near consistent. For me one of his best matches for Barça was his first match where the Barcelona coach told him to play with his instinct and he bossed the right flank against Cristina and Marcelo. But the truth hurts because he wasn't a fit for Barcelona's style and he's had to learn this the hard way. And unfortunately he isn't a particularly smart player, tactically speaking. He defends as much as Pedro/Tello but with much less efficiency and can the hinder the attacking flow. The same reasons why I think Neymar will not succeed in Barça.

I believe in Alexis and I want him to do well. And even though it is a gamble, I tip him to improve.

Afellay is a proud amazigh, maybe Giggity is amazigh (there are amazighs in Algeria I think).

I'm not a fan of Alexis, but we can't really say that Afellay is better than him, not enough to compare.

Both players haven't shown their full capabilities since their arrivals at Barca shores... No need to compare these two players...

He keeps getting injured such a shame.. anyone know where he's gonna go now?

He won't be going for free... Probably 3-5 million given the amount of time he was injured the past few seasons... He has been linked with moves to the Premier League

The Spanish club says the Dutch international needs the operation to treat a “chronic muscle injury” in his right thigh.

What a shame. Another career ruined by injuries...

He will be out till December. I wish him the best and hope this will be his last long term injury.

I really doubt he will play F9 as suggested in the article. He will be a winger and won't play much after Nerman is back, Tello will have the most to lose from his re-appereance.

If Sergi Roberto didnt exist, I would of liked to seen him again in the midfield. For me, he did pretty well there although the sample size was very small.
