I think deadline day excitement is directly correlated to how many people on GL adhere to the 'Arry avatar rule. I'm disappointed this deadline day. It's like only 7/8 of us that did it.

If we lose a battle to sign Salah by not forking out the right amount of money at the right time ( read 11m) we should spend 15-20m on squad depth?

Especially when we are 4th with Cissokho playing week in week out?

Just saying we cant start improving the squad with the limited resources we have right now, Get 4th place then think about squad depth if we can keep hold of Suarez.

We need a bigger squad but right now we need players that would fit in the starting eleven straight.

You strengthen from position of strength.

there 15 games to go....injuries could happen. Not to mention Sterling is only 19, so he shouldn't be playing every week despite his awesome form. We don't want to burn him out.

Honestly, our fans never learn. It's like banging your head against the same wall.

The same people who say we don't need Kono, complain when our options to change the game/rotate/bring another dangerous players is Victor freaking Moses and the Spanish Danny Graham.

Did United need Mata ? No. But that signing gave them another option and made them stronger. That's the whole point.

p.s. looks like BR's priority is another attacker, and not defenders contrary to what most people want to claim.

Konoplyanka is not going to be squad depth. He walks straight into the line up instead of Sterling. The best way to improve your depth is to bring in quality so someone from your starting XI moves to the bench. Not signing bench caliber players.

Arsenal are understood to have had a loan bid for Salomon Kalou knocked back. According to Sky Sports sources, Lille would have been prepared to sell the former Chelsea man because he is on quite high wages, but they are not interested in a loan deal.

Arsenal are still hoping to bring in at least one more new player before the deadline.

I do watch Ukrainian league every other week for betting purposes. Not to mention D'Nipro in EL. and Kono has consistently raped Kyle Walker and Glen Johnson in england-ukraine games.

Don't think that's true tbh, all newcastle based media have denied there's any truth to that rumour.

We offered 8m it was rejected and said we tried.

As per usual.... also its funny we offered way less than Lyon's valuation for a high profile player that was highly unlikely to get accepted.

Seems a bit coincidental to be anything else but smokescreens and lies.
