Re: Winter Transfer Deadline Day Rumours
According Sky braking about deal Hernanes- Inter , it is becoming a uphill road
the economic demands of Ibrahima Mbaye Lazio would be so much high
if the deal fails for Mbaye
no words... this is only 20 old, first season in Serie A and he wants to be treated as a top player

Re: Winter Transfer Deadline Day Rumours
thing is, we won't need plenty of goals from Kono..since we have abundance of them from SAS. He won't have the pressure and burden of goalscoring here, so hopefully (if he comes), he can focus on creating and helping out the midfield with pressing and winning the ball back and getting the ball early to SAS.

Real Madrid are considering letting Casemiro move on loan to another La Liga team.
Mundo Deportivo reports that Carlo Ancelotti and the Santiago Bernabeu decision-makers are evaluating whether or not the Brazilian midfielder will be needed for the rest of the season.
If it is decided that Casemiro can be let go, the likes of Malaga and Real Betis are said to be interested in taking the player on loan.
Serie A side Inter have also registered an interest in Casemiro, while Casemiro wants to explore the possibility of moving to Inter’s city rivals, Milan, to play under Clarence Seedorf.

Barcelona and Roma have agreed compensation for Tony Sanabria, who moved to Italy this month.
The 17-year-old Paraguayan left Camp Nou for the Stadio Olimpico earlier in January and has been loaned by Roma to Sassuolo, Mundo Deportivo reports.
A fee of €4.5m has been settled between the clubs but the structure of the deal means Barcelona could net up to €12m for the player, with much of the figure dependant on bonuses for appearances in Serie A.

PL lost a very good player in Cabaye. I loved watching him play. He was always good for an amazing goal against us though, so I guess there is a silver lining.

Re: Winter Transfer Deadline Day Rumours
Konoplyanka is better though, at least in maturity, experience, and consistency. He may not be more talented but he is far closer to the finished product (as has been said) and that inevitably means that he commands a higher price.rwo power wrote:Obviously Liverpool are not so clever in their dealings if they let Salah slip through their fingers due to haggling too much - and now they might have to pay double for another guy who is likely not exactly better than Momo?!
Konoplyanka has demonstrated his ability in a major international tournament as well, something Salah hasn't really had the opportunity to do. And Sports, you do know that Konoplyanka has played and performed well in the Europa League, right? So he has, in fact, had the chance (and taken said chance) to demonstrate his ability in a European club competition outside of Ukraine.
Also, from what I've seen and read, I have to say I disagree with the comments about his end product compared to Yarmolenko's. Yarmolenko is undeniably a better finisher; he's more composed in front of goal and more lethal, but his combined goal/assist figures are fairly similar to Konoplyanka's at club level... Konoplyanka just tends to pick up more assists, and therefore fewer goals, than Yarmolenko.
I guess Morte's suspicions were correct then. I'm looking forward to the Anita-Tiote-Sissoko midfield show.Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:Cabaye said we had an agreement with him to let him leave in January.

He was actually asked: "When Arsenal made an offer for you and it was refused, did you regret it?"... his answer was: "We had an agreement with the club and they decided to keep that agreement now. You can bet that he went on strike against Newcastle during the summer because Newcastle reneged on something they had promised him. He's not at all the type of personality i expected to do something like that... so what he said explains the summer to me.

Re: Winter Transfer Deadline Day Rumours
West Ham’s hopes of signing Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott could be resurrected before the close of the transfer window on Friday.
The 31-year-old has already agreed in principle to join West Ham’s battle against relegation, having been told the east Londoners will match his £90,000-a-week wages until the end of the season, at which time they will offer him a three-year contract on £50,000-a-week should they stay up.
However, City have been reluctant to sanction a sale until they bring in a replacement, for fear that their squad could be stretched in the second half of the season.
It is understood, though, that the club are increasingly keen to grant Lescott’s wish to leave for more regular first-team football. The former England international’s professional approach to training and commitment to the club has ensured a sympathetic view of his situation among the club’s hierarchy.
And City’s ambitious pursuit of Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala, as revealed by Goal, could also speed up Lescott’s departure as boss Manuel Pellegrini looks to strengthen his defensive options.
The Eastlands outfit have launched a stunning £38 million bid to bring the 22-year-old Frenchman to the club this week as they look to step up their title pursuit in the second half of the season.
It is thought such a move still has a long way to go before completion, with Porto mindful that a bidding war this summer could ensue if they hang on to Mangala, with Chelsea and Manchester United also having shown interest.
Still, Lescott’s camp are hopeful a resolution can be found either way, even with just over two days left of the window.

Re: Winter Transfer Deadline Day Rumours
As been mentioned already, Yarmolenko is more of a forward that plays on the wing whereas Konoplyanka is a midfielder that plays on the wing. So obviously there would be some differences in their goal tallys.

Re: Winter Transfer Deadline Day Rumours
Yevhen Konoplyanka's father has hinted that his son may be set to move to the Premier League, with Liverpool keen on signing the striker.
The Reds have opened negotiations Dnipro over a deal for the Ukraine international, with Brendan Rodgers's men hoping to sign the winger for a fee in the region of €15 million after missing out on Mohamed Salah to Chelsea.
Oleg Konoplyanka admits that there is interest in his son from England and that he could be set to leave Dnipro for the Premier League before the close of the transfer window.
"I do not want to say specifically but the information about a transfer to the English club is true," he told Tribuna.
"He can change clubs later this week. We do not consider offers from Ukraine."
Speaking after Liverpool's 4-0 victory over Everton in the Premier League, Rodgers confirmed that his side were keen to bring in a player in January.
"I think we will hopefully do something over the next couple of days," he told reporters.
"Hopefully we can have a major signing before the window shuts and if we can do that we will be set up for the remaining games."

Juventus Director General, Beppe Marotta, has confirmed the club's interest in Southampton striker Dani Osvaldo. Former Roma man Osvaldo has been linked with a move back to Italy after being suspended by Southampton following a training ground bust-up.
Marotta has admitted Osvaldo is on their list of targets, but that they must sell before they can buy anyone.
We like Osvaldo and he's liked also by other teams. Osvaldo is a good player, but before buying we must sell.

Reports coming out of Brazil suggest Corinthians have turned down an enquiry from Juventus to sign former AC Milan forward Alexandre Pato on loan.
Corinthians' director of football Ronaldo Ximenes claims the deal made no sense at all as Corinthians have no intention of loaning out the Brazil international.
"It makes no sense to loan out Alexandre Pato, that would reduce the player's value, and it wouldn't be interesting for Corinthians either, even though his salary wouldn't need to be paid for four months."
