Roma v Livorno Empty Roma v Livorno

Another rather straightforward match it seems. We had the beating of Livorno in the season opener back in August, which produced the first real goal of the season contender from De Rossi. That goal really set the tone for the next 9 wins for Roma. Things are a little different though this time around.

Livorno come to the Olimpico in utter crisis mode. They are 19th in the league, having only scored 6 goals away from home and are being led by a caretaker who really isn't wanted by the Livorno tifosi, who crashed his unveiling. This type of confusion and uncertainty within a club that almost certain to go down when its all said in done is a perfect opportunity for Roma to further sharpen itself for our match with Juve on Tuesday.

With that in mind, I expect to see several starters rested with Florenzi, Totti, and Maicon and possibly Pjanic or Strootman among them. The depth that we have right now affords us this luxury as Torosidis and Nainggolan along with Ljajic and Destro are very capable of filling in and still causing some serious damage to the rather porous Livorno defense.

A win is expected and all, but certain. This is Roma however though. We thought the same when Sassuolo and Cagliari came to the Olimpico as well and we had our tails up.

The danger tomorrow is to no let distraction about Tuesday affect our performance against an extremely beatable opponent.

Routine 3-0 win then and it's good to see Nutella getting a goal after a barren run.

Next up: Juventus at home in the Coppa and and a pretty tricky Verona away next weekend.

Good game , result could have been easily 5-0 or even 6 but still good game and 3 points

If a scrub like Moyes gets one, I highly doubt anyone would complain about Rudi having one.

Go for it.
