We've laughed at their 25m for Lallana but for this price, I think they've struck a good bargain for a player of his quality.

I doubt he'd be able to stay out of controversies though. LFC couldn't handle a player like Suarez, would they be able to please Mario?

If they were more than happy to bend over and spread wide for Suarez after every racial abuse and physical assault scandal he got himself into, they'll at least be willing to do the same for the markedly less-obscene Balotelli.

As for the signing itself, I could see it going either way. It's 2 entities who believe the entire world is out to get them, so it could well be a match made in heaven really.

The main problem is that Liverpool rely on their players running lots. Mario does not do that.
