Lads we should be realistic, no way we are going to battle out 3 cup finals in a space of pretty much a week.

Yes Matic and Salah will be fresh and fit for Pool, but that's basically it.

Mou said he wants Brendan to win (the league if he can't) because their friends, I reckon Mou will put all eggs in one basket and try to win the CL the only trophy he ain't won with us.

There are a few too many pro-Liverpool pundits in the English media, but we are the fairytale story of the season, the unlikely title contenders, so it'd be surprising if there was more love shown for someone else than us. Also, we've got way more English players than you do :coffee:

I doubt this, Mou is a winner, no way is he giving up on one trophy when we're right in the hunt.

Thats like rolling over in the CL final because you're 1 0 down! That isn't Mourinho's style.

He will want to win both.

This old fool is looking especially stupid now. Title challenge all but over and now closer to 5th than 1st (albeit with a game in hand). Never been the same since being beaten on their own patch by us back in February.

We have a very good core. We will need some depth though. Return of Borini, Suso & Wisdom will also provide some much needed depth. However, with guaranteed CL, we can actually attract good talents now than anytime in last five seasons.
