I am glad they are making us out to be the underdogs, kinda annoying how bragging they are coming off as including their coach.
I guess it's only natural as it's their first time ever passing the group stages

Nasri better than Milner or Navas

The midfields are set up do different things, Barca's control the game and has numerical superiority which will give us easy possession vs them, whereas they are more set up for wing-based counter attacks. Barca's midfield will easily dominate but that doesn't mean City's will not be effective as well.

In any case a City team without Aguero and Zabaleta is not nearly as scary as one with, even with their home record. I still think that City play too open against possession teams and suffer for it.

We have defensive problems, especially at set pieces mainly corners. [So does City, they conceded 1.2 goals per game this season, Barca 0.7].


Barca's plan is simple, dominate possession and let Messi+Neymar+Alexis/Pedro do the damage upfront.
We should not concede corners or commit fouls near the box... sure it won't be easy, but we should win the tie...

I guess both teams will score and I think the team that scores more goals might win but you never know

It's all well and good beating teams for fun in the PL, but against a top class opposition in the CL, it's a completely different ball game. They're gonna get a reality check and it's going to be so sweet to watch.

Barcelona will win comfortably. I'm willing to avatar/sig bet with anyone, that's how confident I am.

If Messi is not healthy, Citeh will will this tie.. It all depends on the Argentinian

Nah I think it'll depend more on our midfield then Messi..
Also if we get lucky and manage not to get scored on in set pieces.

I'm confident that Barcelona will take care of this tie without too much trouble, barring any injuries. I see none of the English teams as being tailor made in any way to win this tournament. They'll flop en masse again just like the seasons before. Just watch. I predict a quarter final with a max of 2 English teams (being generous here) and a semi final without any English teams.

I misread the title and thought it said "Barca is sacred". was expecting praise, lol. All i have to say is that Messi will (hopefully) be back. Nuff said.

To be fair, the way City are scoring at home, and with Barcelona's defence being horrid, this game's going to be a lot closer than people think. But even then, the games couple of months away.

Watching the liverpool game; how can we be scared of city? Suarez and coutinho have no problem passing and moving trough that defense, imagine neymar-messi-sanchez/pedro their attack is strong, whoever scores more will win though [/cruiiff]

never underestimate an opponent . have you forgotten 2010 and 2012 CL's games or even Celtic recently.

Suarez is probably the most in-form striker in Europe atm, and although Barca should have no problem screwing with Citys back line, what do you think Aguero & friends can do to Barcas 'defence' ?
