Dat Screamer. Dang. One of the best goals of the season. Litterally, needed my shades to see that one.
Seedorf telling Balo to stay on the pitch after the game was done.

Re: Mario Balotelli
Seedorf-esque goal. Not only a great goal, but a goal in a decisve moment, it was a sure 0-0
I knew it he would have begun to take points with reasonable continuity from January onwards , Balotelli is always so, even under Mourinho .. he combines little or no in the period September-January ( this year capable to miss even 2 penalties , his speciality) , then he begins to play from January onwards .
Forward good for half league , he has not yet corrected this discontinuity (and I do not know if it will ever).
Anyway , luckily the World Cup lasts only for a month

Re: Mario Balotelli
amazing goal, cant teach a shooting technique like that, pure talent.
But then again, balotelli is a a class of his own in terms of his movements on the pitch, just shite, strolling around the pitch like a grandma.

I agree; his positioning is very bad, he needs players like pazzini and el shaarawy open up the spaces for him. This is why he was able to do well once pazzini came on.

Re: Mario Balotelli
he is lazier than yaya on his worst day, absolutely refuses to move his arse around to open up play and space for the other players. Static player that wants the ball in his feet at all time, doesnt know the meaning of sacrifice.
i love his talent, but everything else about his game is shite for a CF. but maybe CF isnt what he wants to be...
To me, it's one of those situations where Seedorf arrives to milanello with all these nice ideas about how to play around the prima punta, but that CF is not functional at all and wants to play a different way. Curious to see how it evolves, whether Balo will change or if Seedorf will alter his ideas and play balo with another CF, or two propers wingers that make runs inside ala callejon/jese. good luck

That exercise is absolutely worthless anyways..
No it isn't.. plyometrics are very, very effective for dribbling and fast twitch muscles..
Messi especially does alot of these
I think what they do in warm ups where they run and then speed up and move their legs really fast and high (if you get what I'm saying), is enough.. I see that exercise being more useful for NFL running backs, not footy players.. They just need to run as much as they can and improve their lung capacity

Really? I agree that these little things make the difference between the good and great players. Even if you don't see the value in that particular exercise, the attitude and message it sends speak volumes. Players who put in the work are the ones who will see results...talent can only take you so far.
Some players work hard in training, others don't.. I think managers have to realize this
All that should matter is how they play in the game, not practice
*insert Allen Iverson practice rant here*

Re: Mario Balotelli
You guys are insane.
He makes runs in behind, he occasionally goes out wide to both flanks to stretch defenses and he always drops deeper to link up or create chances. He's an intelligent and complete striker.
Just needs better teammates, service and manager.

Re: Mario Balotelli
How do you think other teammates feel when they see a fellow player skipping the drills that everyone else is doing? Sure some players don't want to train as hard, but you best believe they would never make it onto my squad.
Anyway, I'm done after your lung capacity comment. It's clear to me you have no clue what you're talking about.

Re: Mario Balotelli
He does need a right manager for once in his career to get the best out of him. Think Rodgers could make him into an all time great. Or Wenger/Klopp. If I was Dortmund or Arsenal I'd splash the cash on him. Specially since both need a guy like him in attack.

Re: Mario Balotelli
I'm beginning to think this is a Balotelli problem, not his managers. How many clubs will he play for before he gets his act together? Either the guy has to mature, or he is going to continue moving clubs every couple of years.

Re: Mario Balotelli
Ofc it's a balotelli problem? when has it ever not been the case. This is a guy that strolls around the pitch like he doesnt care, no wonder he is skipping drills in training too. He acts so imbued of himself, as if he has figured it out already. Boban was right to say that at his time, Balotelli would be carrying towels...
Before asking that he would be coached by managers like wenger or klopp, you have to wonder if those managers are willing to gamble all they believe that a professional player should be, just for the sake of talent. Balo needs to help himself first.

Dude, you can't be serious
Define athleticism
Because I'm sure theres no basketball player for example that can beat a soccer player in a 5k/10k, or even a mile
