Defenders: Sergio Ramos, Pepe, Arbeloa, Carvajal, Marcelo and Nacho.
Midfielders: Casemiro, Modric, Di María, Isco and Illarra.
Forwards: Benzema, Jesé and Morata.

Prediction:"Xabi Alonso will not be in the squad because he can’t play on artificial turf because of the injury that he had", spoke about the match against Olímpic Xàtiva: "We are starting in another competition and we have to do well because we are playing against a team that have high hopes and so do all of their fans. We are going to try to play well and stay focused. We're not used to playing in that type of pitch, but that’s fine. not a bad game, held on for the draw...these are the games players like morata, jese, casimiro, et al should be trying to prove themselves in and stand out.....whilst i have no problem with promoting castilla players, i have a problem with promoting them simply cos barcelona have had a resent surge of success in that department....we are madrid, we should not follow the standard of others

dull game
Olymic de Xativa were happy to sit back and leave a forward up top to work on long balls. Jese, Casemiro and DiMaria were god awful. The subs were not any better bar Marcelo. god knows why carlo decided to take out our brightest player isco

Both me and my mom's dog literally fell asleep during the match. The dog fell asleep after looking at the screen for 5 seconds during the first half. I only remember the first 20-30 minutes of the game. Watching my local team, Strømsgodset play is more exciting.

Best at what? Missing a 1 on 1 and trying to dribble past countless players instead of passing it.
Luckily we play at home and we will win very comfortably.

Nope, haha. I was in and out of doctor appointments today unfortunately otherwise I would have watched it. I always love the matches where almost all the subs get a starting spot.

agree....morata needs to start stepping up when called upon. i like jese's play, he strikes me as more of a winger than a forward tho
