Re: The Walking Dead II
Mehh, I like the show and I'm intrigued to see how things will unfold overall, but there's too much slow emotional stuff for me considering the subject matter. Too often characters verbally reflect on stuff that happened several episodes previous and just continue to talk about how they feel about it.
I'm not saying this is unreasonable given that real characters should do this, but I almost feel like the dialogue in the 'filler' scenes of the show treat me like an idiot as a viewer, constantly reviewing stuff that has already happened and saying exactly how every character feels and what they want to do next. There is no room for interpretation. It doesn't make me attached to the characters; it makes me annoyed by them - I can't stand Glenn for example and his irrational emotional bullshit.
I wish more major stuff happened from episode to episode to keep me wanting to come back for more as opposed to just watching it because eventually something will happen. For zombie-themed entertainment, I expect frantic action on a regular basis. Again, I do like the overall story, but I just don't like the pace that they tell it at.

Re: The Walking Dead II
Just watched the finale and after all that the season ends with them getting locked in a broken train thing? That's it? Underwhelming end to the season.
That could have easily happened in any of the other episodes. Just not worthy of ending a season.
The show is getting repetitive now. There's only so many seasons they can keep getting captured and then escaping again before it gets tedious.
I'll still watch the show however because it's suspenseful and compelling.

Re: The Walking Dead II
That was the ending because Terminus is next season's setting. They didn't want to start it yet. It makes sense to do it next season.

Re: The Walking Dead II
The ending should have been more dramatic.
Also why don't those people just shoot the gang? Why capture them and waste time for a season.

There is a reason for it. Didn't you figure out by seeing the cages of Bone and the steak being served at the start?

So why not just shoot them straight away, cook them, then eat them.

Re: The Walking Dead II
They will most likely cut their head off first. Then cut the body and preserve it. One person might be enough food for a week I think?
If they kill all of them then it will just get wasted.

Re: The Walking Dead II
Meh, i'll watch it till the end but i'm not a huge fan by any means
I was sure terminus wasn't going to be another trap. But... sure enough the first so called sanctuary they stumble upon after the Governors was...
wait for it...
Not what it appeared to be
Wonder if they'll escape terminus and find a castle full of people. Only for the group to be.
Wait for it...
Not what they appeared to be.

Nah, they can kill them altogether, chop their heads off and store them in a fridge.

They should introduce some characters from the TellTale game.

Re: The Walking Dead II
One thing that's pretty funny is that everybody says the show is about characters and interaction, and not about the zombie outbreak. Which is true, yet for a show that's so focused on the characters they've managed to kill off the best ones and at this point there's hardly and I like.

Re: The Walking Dead II
I'd say there is no character apart from Rick and maybe daryl that I really like
I 'like' a few. But that's like as in borderline 'couldn't care less'
I expect way more in a show that sometimes uses an entire episode to build a character.

MT does have a point tbh. Why not shoot them in the head and then preserve them

Because what's the use of just shooting them on sight and then there's no suspense nor main characters for the story to continueM99 wrote:MT does have a point tbh. Why not shoot them in the head and then preserve them
