Ramsey now the best Welsh playa?

We sold Song after we had already bought Giroud and Cazorla and were going to sign Podolski anyway. Seriously, if we had him last year our midfield would have been far better and we never would have needed to wait a year to sign Flamini to replace him. Do you not remember the first few games without him? We were terrible and got overran every game in midfield until our players learned to adapt to playing without him.

All bitter feelings aside, selling Song hurt us badly at the time, and any one of you Gooners would have taken him back with open arms at the start of the season before we knew Ramsey was going to be such a boss.

Well that's just ridiculous then. At the time, he was head and shoulders above Ramsey and Wilshere (both having not recovered from injury).

Song deployed as a destroyer (before that season where he decided to go blonde) was decent. I do think that he is being misused in Barcelona. But looking at the options they had, what was he going to expect?

If he were to come back to Arsenal, I think he would make a great backup (obviously would be guaranteed more games in his preferred position with us than what he is currently getting)

Cazorla---Ozil----Wilshere
-------Ramsey---Arteta

Rosicky---Song----Chamberlain
------Arteta----Flamini

This would give us more options.

Hes been the player of the season and I don't think that's an exaggeration.
