Ramsey obviously won't be as hyped up just because he's a midfielder and doesn't score last minute winning long shots. It'll be interesting though if his hype increases to Bale level if he keeps up his form.

I realize you are looking for a reaction but it is worth mentioning that Bale's best part of last season came in the latter half of the season, not the first half. He was still great in the first half, but come on...we all know it didn't match what he did post-January. He was still playing LW in the first 13 games of the PL last season.

More interesting for me is the chances created stat. Shows how much absolute bollocks the "Bale only had 4 assists last season" statement/argument was. He created quite a few chances, the problem is Bale was the only one who could finish

Ramsey's goal-scoring is ridiculous though. While I don't think this is mere "form" in general, I do believe the amount of goals he is scoring will go down- I believe that he is on "goal-scoring form", which I don't think will last.

he wouldnt start for us anyway, he wasnt good enough imo, he was holding us back with his poor positioning and average passing. i still cant believe barca paid 20m for him, i dont even think wenger believed it. thats why he sold him so quick.

If RVP was still around you'd be higher than 6th lol.

We sold Song after we had already bought Giroud and Cazorla and were going to sign Podolski anyway. Seriously, if we had him last year our midfield would have been far better and we never would have needed to wait a year to sign Flamini to replace him. Do you not remember the first few games without him? We were terrible and got overran every game in midfield until our players learned to adapt to playing without him.

All bitter feelings aside, selling Song hurt us badly at the time, and any one of you Gooners would have taken him back with open arms at the start of the season before we knew Ramsey was going to be such a boss.

On that note, Ramsey
