2003-2004 : 19 games and only 1 goal with the spurs > called up for euro 2004
2005-2006 : 16 games and only 2 goals with saint etienne > called up for the 2006 world cup
2007-2008 : 11 games and only 2 goals with Panathinaikos > called up for euro 2008 .

he missed the 2010 world , but was selected for euro 2012 after yet another mediocre season .

and after all this years , he's still there...

portugal needs to give some playing time to oliveira .

well , he did play for 10 years next to the likes of figo , ronaldo , rui costa etc...

i'm not saying he didn't have his moments ,he did save portugal's ass in that game against england , and scored some important goals in the qualifiers ( mostly against second tier teams )

but still , portugal needs to explore options other than the tiresome almeida/postiga postiga/almeida duo .
