yesterday rami made some really dumb comments in a radio interview

"It's ridiculous that some are suggesting I faked injury so I wouldn't play against Sevilla. I had a sore foot."

"I don't speak about Djukic. I have a poor relationship with him. Let's see where we finish."

"We've lost players like Albelda, Soldado and Tino. In the dressing room we only have arse kissers who don't speak to your face."

"When I've had the chance to play, I've been a boss in defence."

which didn't go well with the club... he's been suspended indefinitely without pay and valencia have appealed to the player association to have him train separately from the squad... djukic said rami's played his last game for valencia, and we're looking to sell him in january

He also said that Djukic told him that "I think you can be one of the best CBs in Europe, and so far he hasn't proved that", as if Djukic were the one stepping into the pitch

Should've sold him back in summer if he was being a prick then itself, no club will pay now high bucks now that he's publicly stated that he doesn't want to stay, albeit indirectly.

 What a bad timing. he's not going to play for 3-4 months now and will end up playing for the first team that would put 5millions on the table aka some russian team. He won't even have choice as Valencia will sell him asap.

Milan need a CB. I don't think he's going to be much of an upgrade on Zapata or Mexes but at least he'll provide some sort of depth.

Rami has been bad though and he certainly isn't Valencia's best CB. While I know don't doubt his talent (and his stats of FM), from a neutral's PoV, good riddance.

Djukic's job still is pretty much dead man walking though...

No way they can suspend him indefinitely without pay, I think in the Premier League the maximum wages you can fine at a time are 2 weeks, don't know how it's in La Liga, but certainly not indefinitely.

that's why the club contacted the player association to help resolve this... tbh it's in the AFE's best interest that rami gets punished appropriately, if a precedent is set that suggests that players can talk shit about their clubs without any significant sanction clubs will get significantly more wary of this and they'll be tougher in negotiations to make sure this kind of thing doesn't happen, not something a player union would be happy about

Well, I don't think Mathieu could be better than Rami (esp @ CB), VR isn't quite up there yet & neither is RC. Unless there's some DF I may have overlooked, lol.

Anywho, I don't know how all this poop started with Djukic & Rami. I'm guessing Rami must have thought he was untouchable then Djukic tried to drop him down to Earth and Rami didn't like it.

Valencia have Ruiz + Mathieu, I don't see any problems there. My main gripe is why Cissokho was loaned

Surely not of Mexes , but of Zapata ? Maybe. Could even be a potential target for Milan if there's any chance he is going on the cheap by January. Otherwise no , lol

In any case , not sure what to think of Rami . And by saying these stuff against his current club didn't improve my opinion of him either. So unproffesional to talk about the dressing room like that in public .

So let me get this straight... you can't say that you don't have a good relationship with the manager (it's not like he cursed him, called him names or said anything crazy)?

valencia doesn't stand a chance in hell regarding not paying Rami's wages....  none.  This wouldn't hold up in court in the US, let alone the EU

Clubs say a lot worse things about players... much worse.

As far as Rami's attitude... well, it's no secret he's wanted out of Valencia for a while now.   He was a beast in Rudi Garcia's system and i can see Roma picking him up for cheap.  Valencia's defensive system has been a mess for a long time.  Rami is a system defender... he's not a very good individual defender.
