WTF ?
The coach was disappointed that his side slipped to a 3-0 loss to the Bianconeri, ruining their chance to go a point behind Serie A leaders Roma
Rafa Benitez has suggested Napoli were beaten 3-0 by Juventus in part because Sunday's opposition make "over €100 million more" than his club.
Goals from Fernando Llorente, Andrea Pirlo and Paul Pogba ensured that the Bianconeri moved to only one point off Roma at the top of Serie A, while the Partenopei were left in third.
Juve have won back-to-back Scudetto titles under Antonio Conte, and Benitez believes that experience, team familiarity and cashflow are why the Naples-based club were defeated in Turin this weekend.
"Napoli are growing, as a team and a club," he told Sky Sport. "Whereas Juventus have been winning for years, so it’s only natural they are considered favourites.
"Juve are a team that make over €100 million more [than us] in sales, so it's normal for them to win."
The former Chelsea and Inter boss expressed disappointment that his charges conceded early in the game and he suggested that his team did not show the quality he is certain they possess, despite Juve's strength.
"Obviously starting against a strong side like Juve and going 1-0 down after two minutes changes everything. The team were struggling for 20 minutes, then we got back into it, but those two goals showed the quality of Juventus.
"It’s no consolation, because we lost, but everyone knows we are at 75 per cent and any intelligent person knows Juventus are still very strong.
"It wouldn’t be easy for anyone in this situation with such an early goal, but we fought back and had our chances.
"We needed more possession and to be more dangerous, but above all to show the character and quality we knew we had."
Napoli's next game is a Serie A clash at home to Parma on November 23, after the two-week international break.

We need to stop selling jersey's so Benitez can have a good sleep or he needs to wake up

Re: WTF ?
The sweet irony is that today's goal scorers were: Llorente, Pirlo, and Pogba.
You don't see the irony? All three were free transfers.

Re: WTF ?
its ok vibe, in a couple years, Inter can make up some more bullshite, frame Juve, and then they'll be competitive again and win something. YEAH!!
But act quickly, the statute of limitations might pass and then we wont get punished, you know what I mean?

Re: WTF ?
If you truly believe Moratti is powerful enough to involve mighty Juve empire and a team owned by the Prime Minister of Italy in a made up scenario...Then believe.FilthyLuca wrote:its ok vibe, in a couple years, Inter can make up some more bullshite, frame Juve, and then they'll be competitive again and win something. Re: WTF ?
Your right, its not like Moratti is worth 800 million dollars and owns TIM ,and its not like a bunch of former inter board members were on the committee who handed down the punishment. Nor is it written in black and white that Inter were found guilty of article 6 sporting fraud. but yeah go ahead and type it like that, as if Juve are all powerful and Berlusconi is the King of Italy, whatever helps you cheaters sleep better at night.Vibe wrote:If you truly believe Moratti is powerful enough to involve mighty Juve empire and a team owned by the Prime Minister of Italy in a made up scenario...Then believe.FilthyLuca wrote:its ok vibe, in a couple years, Inter can make up some more bullshite, frame Juve, and then they'll be competitive again and win something. Re: WTF ?
So bored of calciopoli discussions
I'm sure there's some places to discuss that although the discussions will be 7 years old.
Boring.
