I have not spoken to anyone, but I think they know me well enough at the club (Chelsea) to know that the situation is definitely not the way I would imagine. With the Euros (in 2016) and the national team in mind, there is no time for me to sit on the bench and not to play. If the situation will not start to improve for me, then I will want to solve it.

I was just about to bring up that Nottingham Forest English keeper we've been linked with for ages but when I looked him up to remember his name, it says Newcastle signed him this summer

Ruddy wouldn't be a bad option at all, all jokes aside. Quality, attainable due to Norwich's non-top-flight status (not taking into account their possibility of promotion), good age, and English.

I can't think of too many more homegrown GK's who would be good enough for 2nd spot.
