FIFA 14 features such as Ultimate Team will carry forward from Xbox 360/PS3 to Xbox One/PS4 without an issue, but your Career Mode progress will be lost.

As a way of rewarding players who have already sunk time into the current-gen game, EA has detailed the Career Mode bonuses they'll receive when transitioning to the next-gen version.

Tier 1 = Played at least 15 games
• +1 to all Career Pro attributes
• 1 Top GTN scout for one season
• +15% Initial transfer budget

Tier 2 = Played at least one season
• +3 to all Career Pro attributes
• 1 Top GTN scout for one season
• +30% Initial transfer budget
• Rematch Ability

Tier 3 = Played at least 2 seasons
• +5 to all Career Pro attributes
• 1 Top GTN scout for one season
• +60% Initial transfer budget
• Rematch Ability
• Edit Player functionality

When you load up FIFA 14 on Xbox One or PS4 the game will recognise if you've previously played Career Mode on current-gen and inform you of any perks which apply.

i haven't spent any time on career mode, just been playing seasons as I don't want to lose progress and waste my coins in the catalogue on stuff i am going to have to re buy in next gen for my career

i'm upgrading my FIFA 14 from current gen to next gen today, so good to know headers are fixed because I would get livid when Iniesta/Messi/Sanchez are all jumping over Vidic/Hummels/Boateng winning headers every time.....so much rage when that happens

It's even worse on clubs. Pretty much every game some sort of header goes in.

Also they need to get rid of custom set-pieces. People just glitch them.

Like you mark the opponent at a corner, however he still out heads you just because it's a custom glitch corner.

finally upgraded my 360 copy to Xbox One copy today

the feel is amazing, honestly once you go to next gen, you don't know how u ever played on current gen with this game.

I had a friend who said it was ridiculously sick. I don't know personally since I don't have either FIFA 14 or a next gen console, but I've heard it's great.

Just what I wanted to hear from someone with firsthand experience. While playing Fifa on the 360 I did think they might have geared it more towards the next generation console and I'm so ecstatic to hear someone confirm my notion. Hopefully I'll be joining you on the One soon.

My friends console arrived at my place today...so I actually have to be in the same room as it without being able to sex it up...

well when you get it we will have to start up some pro club for sure!

Something I find annoying on CM is something I am noticing is a common trend. I am only one season in, and I've already had 3 players come ask me for a new contract. So I offer them the money they wanted, on some occasions a bit more if it was a player I really didn't want to leave, and offered them the years they asked for. And then they turn around and tell me, "I want to thank you for the offer, but I think I am going to leave the club at the next transfer window and try my skills in another club" or some bullshit like that. So now I am hesitant to even want to give these assholes new contracts when they ask for them at the risk of them just being like, "Oh SIKE, I never wanted a new contract I just wanted to leave instead."

They just need to fix certain things. Like only allowing teams who press in real life to auto press, instead of every single team being able to do it.

Also nerf headers, fix first touches, slow the game speed down to how it is in real life etc.

wait till you play next gen guys, it's so much better

I do hate how all of these teams are amazing at pressing, but your 'fix' idea is terrible

Creates a huge gap between 2-3 teams and the rest. Every single game would consist of Bayern, Dortmund and Barca with the odd hipster chosing Real or PSG.



The issue is with the insane stamina all players have. Especially on pro clubs where these virtual pros literally run non-stop for 90 minutes. Sure they get 2 small injuries, but it makes no difference.

Pressing should be part of the game though, plus there would be ways to counter it, similar to real life.

I played FIFA 14 in my friend's PS4 and stopped playing after one match. I knew that I would not be able to play my FIFA 14 in my Xbox 360 anymore if I played just one more match in the PS4. It is amazing, FIFA nailed next gen. Self restraint already cracking lol. Need to stay strong

when I got my ps4 and told you that fifa 14 is far better on ps4 than ps3 and said EA nailed it some of you laughed and said its the same old crap nothing new has changed....

if you are not getting next gen soon I advise you don't tempt yourself to play any next gen games at a friend's or a fair, it will ruin your ps3 experience...
