I kinda expected this, the next gen versions will be much superior.

I don't think much will change gameplay wise for next gen. The graphics and atmosphere will be the only thing that improves.

Crosses are starting to piss me off, on offense and defense.. You press a button to head or clear and the players don't do anything

TBH, you were playing anti football. Constant long balls and crosses, I played better , at times you couldn't even get past my intense pressing.

If only the likes of Nerman were more efficient we would be talking about a different scoreline.

I was playing 3-3-4, I only shoot from insane positions because I'm horrible at finishing. Whenever I did build up nicely I always ended up missing in the end. I'm probably better at shooting from long range than close range. Whenever I did shoot from long range there was some rebounds which should have been put in the back of the net, but Nerman would miss them or Neuer would make a super hero save

You need to try shooting towards the corners, tbh only 2 saves from Neuer surprised me a little

Most of them kept going straight at him

I was finishing well with Robben and scrubdzukic. Don't even like playing with Bayern tbh but Juve and 3-5-2 get exploited.

Still the same scripted ball physic. When are EA going to get rid of that? It has crippled the whole experience with FIFA.

The match engine plays identical to current gen - in other words arcady and dated. I would have liked EA to take this opportunity to really scrap some fundamental flaws about FIFA and rebuild the engine to make it play more like real football. What I saw in the video played nothing like football and the upgrades from current gen to next gen are purely cosmetic with animations added here and there.

Of course I'm getting it on the release day as I'm not interested in any other games bar footy games. But this year for me has been a bit of a disappointment regarding both FIFA and PES.

It does look slightly better but it comes as no surprise as EA once again overlooked in improving the interface lags.

Its very frustrating to deal with such an inferior interface during team management..

I like using Juve on co-op seasons but because EA have clear mental disabilities I can't use them.

Why? Because the whole forced 'matchday form' bullshit is so bad it's unbelievable

Most of the team is badly out of form, and there's no way to fix it as far as I know. It hasn't updated itsself since like 7 matchdays ago it's a complete joke.

Can someone confirm whether FIFA 14 has online team play - the regular one without your created Pro? I'm hearing it has been removed.

Are the teams up dated already to current version, with all transfers and what not? Or does one need to go and "update roster"?
