I hope I am wrong but I don't think we stand a chance against Napoli

Re: Milan v Napoli
We will be lucky to get a draw or lose by 1 goal margin at this point in time, but we will be a harder bone to chew on the season's 2nd part..

No chance, they are in fine form and we are a joke atm. We'd be lucky to snatch a point

Re: Milan v Napoli
Last season i expected us to get raped by Napoli and we managed a draw, it was somehow early in the season as well if i remember correctly... or was it Udinese??
Anyway here is hoping for all three points... how I don't care

They're going to be physically and mentally fatigued after this win. They're not the greatest of travellers.
I expect a draw or a Milan win here.

napoli have better squad with better depth. plus has won every game so, their confidence is high.S wrote:They're going to be physically and mentally fatigued after this win. They're not the greatest of travellers.

we still have more than half of first team injured. so its again all about damage limitation. even ugly 1-0 win or 0-0 will suffice for milan

Apparently Poli and Abate should be back for this match, something to look forward to.

Re: Milan v Napoli
I tend to agree with this. Yes, Napoli are very good and are full of confidence, BUT let's not get pessimistic. This is our home game and we are going to have some key players back. Napoli are just as vulnerable as we are at the back.S wrote:They're going to be physically and mentally fatigued after this win. They're not the greatest of travellers.

Yes Napoli are favorites but it is our home ground and we will not give easily. Even more, we play worst against some smaller clubs. We know what to expect from them and our players know that too.

I don't think fatigue can be considered as a major factor, since Rafa's obviously going to rotate.S wrote:They're going to be physically and mentally fatigued after this win. They're not the greatest of travellers.

Re: Milan v Napoli
My biggest concerns are the right back and the left back , if we play 4-3-1-2 . I love this formation because it offers balance , foundations for building possesion and great defence , yet without capable fullbacks , we will face problems both in defence and attack..
Abate will be back , that's very good. Abate and Constant are very good news , though Constant hasn't reached optimal form still and Abate just got available again.. I'd like to see Nocerino and Muntari again in this match , with Poli coming in the 2nd half. We have to press them and frustrate them when they have the ball , take some of their excitement off.
Besides , i wouldn't like Allegri to risk Poli a setback. If he has to play , he has to play though i think Allegri will do well to play Nocerino again from the start. Noce , Muntari and De Jong can form a pretty stable 1st fake-wall between their lines and we can also compensate with Napoli's fast transition from hold up play to attacking threat.
It will be a difficult game , that's for sure. Out of everyone , i want Abate & Constant to perform as best they can. Abate just got back from injury so i may be expecting a lot , but i don't see how else this will be done. Abate or Constant will have to drive the ball often and provide adequate support in the flanks .. Nocerino and Muntari will most probably find it tough to move the ball forward ; so , inevitably , they will be passing it sideways .. I hope they can do it , because Napoli have raised their game big time. I also think it's time for Matri to wear his scoring boots as well , Balotelli takes so much pressure these days. He needs to know someone else can take some load off his back if he can't find the net , especialy now that El Sharaawy is unavailable. In any case , i think Balotelli will have a great game against Napoli.

Re: Milan v Napoli
We got this Sapo to get some minutes hopefully
----------------Abiati------------------
Abate----zap---------Mex-----Const-
----------------Dejong----------------
----Nocerino------------Muntari------
---------------Birsa/Sapo-------------
-----------Balo---------Matri----------
Good enough in my opinion and Napoli are due a loss and we should be able to make that happen.
hopefully Higuain doesn't take off where Cavani(beast against us) left off.

Re: Milan v Napoli
Apparently Robinho is favored to play as the TQ against Napoli. Allegri has used Saponara injury as an excuse not to play him at all this match, even though he is fully recovered.

Re: Milan v Napoli
its ok not to rush saponara well, lets pull off another win at home! we need it
i am super worried about how abate has already been rushed to lineup. we have no choice but i am slightly worried. same with poli.
