Milan v Napoli
ES has saved us the last time we met, lets hope he is able to emulate the same performance
None of Napoli's players are injured/suspended (At least that's what I've heard), Balo is suspended for us, so Pazzini has to start
The bothering question for me is-Who should start alongside Montolivo in the middle of the park? Also whats bothering me is if we start Ambro (Who shows up in these types of games) then we might not be able to play him against Juve next week, in which his experience is needed. Our last spot is between Muntari, Noce and Flamini. I'd start Muntari just to give that midfield the same sort of rigor it had against Barca, though I wont be disappointed to see Flamini, as he is in somewhat good form. Nocerino Has barely played all season, and a game of this magnitude might get to him imo
Napoli just came back from back to back wins against Genoa and Torino, so that might spell some trouble against us. Dzemaili has been recently beasting for Napoli and Cavani has found his shooting boots, so don't rule anything out
Anyways we're going for nothing but those 3 points
Prediction: Milan 2-1 Napoli

Situazione disciplinare #MilanNapoli: sono diffidati Boateng, De Jong, El Shaarawy, Nocerino, Yepes, Zaccardo, Zapata
Those are the guys that are one booking away from suspension

Re: Milan v Napoli
The players called up: Abbiati, Amelia, Gabriel, Abate, Antonini, Bonera, De Sciglio, Mexes, Salamon, Yepes, Zaccardo, Zapata, Boateng, Constant, Flamini, Montolivo, Muntari, Nocerino, Bojan, El Shaarawy, Niang, Pazzini, Robinho
Ambrosini, De Jong, Traore', Vila and Balotelli left out
I guess we're going with a midfield of Muntari----Montolivo----Flamini

Re: Milan v Napoli
I dont think Boa is gonna play in a 3 man mid, he's been used on the wing quite a lot recently so Allegri might choose to deploy him on the RW

Re: Milan v Napoli
For this match I'd want us to stretch Napoli. The defence should remain as normal, as I don't see the need to change and Constant needs to earn his spot back as DS has done well. The midfield I'd look to keep the same too probably. Muntari's fit as far as I'm aware and not suspended if I'm correct, so it would make sense he starts with Montolivo and Flamini.
The biggest questions are in attack. Balotelli will naturally be swapped for Pazzini and El Shaarawy's a definite starter. The last spot is between Boateng and Niang. I'd want to stretch Napoli so Niang's slightly got the edge for me, as Boateng likes to move in central and hasn't been in great form the last couple of matches.
In that respect, I'd line up like this:
-------------Abbiati----------------
Abate----Zapata---Mexes----De Sciglio
---Flamini---Montolivo---Muntari---
-Niang--------Pazzini-------El Sharaawy

Re: Milan v Napoli
I for one am looking forward to a game without Balotelli. So far my suspicions have only been confirmed rather than proven wrong, that with Balotelli playing the group as a whole has not been strengthened. El Shaarawy for sure has not been the El Shaarawy we’ve for most part of the season.
There’s still way too much glamour attitude from Balotelli when he’s on the pitch, as if his £20,000 special gold plated, diamond ornament shoes will invoke some sort of Jedi-like respect and sticking his nose up the air like a diva will win games for Milan. I want to see if the absence of Balotelli will give El Shaarawy the space to act as he has before the arrival of Mario, who’s shown far too much tendencies of a Duracell rabbit on crack.

Re: Milan v Napoli
Whilst I'm certainly not opposed to Vasanth's line-up, it is unrealistic to think that we would enter an important game without Boateng in the line-up. His use at right wing is the most likely scenario of course, supplying numbers in midfield when we are in our own half, then either peeling outside as we move up the pitch or cutting inside when Abate pushes up. The aggressiveness of our fullbacks will be key to ensuring that we are the team that dictates the match and limits Napoli to their own half. With the highly mobile pair of Behrami and Dzemaili in midfield, ensuring that our fullbacks are not placed in 2v1 situations when we're sitting in our own half.
I am opposed to Constant's return to the line-up, though I am for his continued use as appropriate. It is important to effectively rotate to ensure that those on the edges of the first team remain match ready and feel that they are still an important part of the squad. Even in the light of De Sciglio's troubled second half against Fiorentina, I do not feel that now is an appropriate time to return Constant to the starting line-up.
With Fiorentina maintaining the pressure on third sport, it's vital to regain our momentum ahead of a highly difficult match against Juventus. Ensuring that we hold the head to head record over Napoli with a victory could also provide excellent insurance in the race for the Champions League.

MILAN OFFICIAL "XI" (4-3-3): Abbiati_Abate-Mexes-Zapata-Constant_Boateng-Montolivo-Muntari_Robinho-Pazzini-Niang.
Why the hell isn't ES being played? I absolutely detest Robinho, he's been out of it for a while
ffs we're definitely losing this game

Flamini and his two footed tackles. Nice goal but he massively screwed up there.

Anyone remember that scene from Inception where the father was on his deathbed and all the son could make out was one word?
