Yeah but he's the first person within the official organization of Real Madrid to openly question the transaction... I think only someone of Zidane's stature could get away with it too.  It's good that he said it.  I think he wanted to make sure that he wasn't perceived as having agreed to the transaction (which is what people were saying).

Now we know that, although he likes Bale, he didn't agree on the price and the transaction.

i remember people saying that zidane was only worth at max £25million at the time rm brought him for £60m . truthfully though zidane was 40million max imo
