Juve promoted in Champions draw

Tonight’s results mean Juventus and Milan are in Pot 2 for tomorrow’s Champions League draw.

The Bianconeri were bumped up to the second seed status after Olympique Lyonnais went out against Real Sociedad.

Napoli are relatively new to the Champions League, so are only in Pot 4 and risk an extremely tough group.

This evening Celtic scraped through 3-2 on aggregate, overturning a 2-0 first leg defeat to Shakhter with a late goal.

Real Sociedad completed the destruction of Lyon, winning both legs 2-0.

Viktoria Plzen won 1-0 away to Maribor, 4-1 on aggregate, while Luciano Spalletti’s Zenit won 4-2 against Pacos Ferreira. It resulted in an 8-3 aggregate victory.

The Champions League group phase draw will be held in Montecarlo on Thursday at 17.00 UK time.

Pot 1: Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal, Porto, Benfica

Pot 2: Atletico Madrid, Shakhtar Donetsk, Milan, Schalke, Marseille, CSKA Moscow, PSG, Juventus

Pot 3: Zenit, Manchester City, Ajax, Borussia Dortmund, Basel, Olympiacos, Galatasaray, Bayer Leverkusen

Pot 4: Copenhagen, Napoli, Anderlecht, Celtic, Steaua Bucharest, Viktoria Plzen, Real Sociedad, Austria Vienna

The draw is after 45 minutes

I hope we get 1 big team from pot 1. I want barca
And basel/olympiacos or even ajax from pot 3 and celtic perhaps
