Re: The Official Talk About Whatever Thread
What a final.
I thought Djokovic was going to be brushed aside in the final set but he just kept coming.
Only match I decided to watch all of throughout the Open and it goes for 5 hours and 53 minutes.

Yeah, as Nadal upped his game, Djokovic upped his even more. If Nadal was a tad more sharp, he would have won. But, Djokovic definitely deserves it, incredible performance to be a step ahead of a brilliant Nadal.

Re: The Official Talk About Whatever Thread
Nadal must still be ruing that backhand pass that he missed down the line when he had half the court available. Even though I was supporting Djokovic, I felt so sorry for Nadal, but I was disappointed with his timidity after he had won the first set then retreated back into himself and stopped pushing up to the baseline.
Even though Djokovic overcame an incredible physical barrier, I don't believe that this cements the issue of their rivalry if Nadal develops some consistency in his strategy of hitting flatter and pushing up against Novak.
The French Open is going to very intriguing.

Re: The Official Talk About Whatever Thread
I watched more tennis than sleeping time because I had school T___TT.
Bleh, Nadal was serving to make it 5-2, misses an absolute sitter, and gets broken that game ): IF HE HAD GOTTEN THAN SHOT, MAYBE HE WOULD HAVE WON.

Azarenka ftw.
All the best mate.
Remember, make sure that you don't sacrifice healthy sleep patterns in VCE, you don't want to burn out and you need to maintain a healthy balance in everything. Most of all, enjoy yourself and never stress too much about it.

Azarenka is queer. Sharapova > all.
Ta.
Yeah, won't stress. Plan on not going on the computer much less limited time from here. I'll try and come on and post here from time to time, but no guarantee. :p

Is the VCE like the HSC?
I'll give you about a week... then you'll be straight back on here.

We discussed how each was scored a while back, however I still don't know enough about the HSC to answer that question.
Which subjects are you taking ynwa, if you don't mind me asking?
Also yeah, no one actually sticks to their VCE resolutions to give up distractions.

Re: The Official Talk About Whatever Thread
Most schools just steal NEAP Practice Sacs for their Further assessments, do them before hand and you're set.
What do you want to do in Uni? That's a pretty strange selection.
HSC is like our VCE, except strange and New South Walesy.

Re: The Official Talk About Whatever Thread
Fair enough, good luck with that.
Just making my uni timetable at the moment and my only two arts lectures for the week clash unavoidably.
At least I have a couple of days where I can sleep in and not too many long breaks if I get my preferences. May also have only one class on Friday and it's an Algebra and Number Theory lecture. The temptation to skip is building before Uni has even started, this isn't a good sign.

Re: The Official Talk About Whatever Thread
1. What's the go with everyone's usernames changing? I'm gone one week and everyone's names are different, if possible can someone take the 123 off mine?
2. Good luck ynwa, I was on the forum the night before some of my HSC exams and tbh the forum makes a good distraction from everything which you do need sometimes. Also if you don't know if it already boredofstudies.com will help you alot

If you want to change it, you just message an admin, you get three changes, but no refunds :L. Personally, I am against it, but oh well.fatman123 wrote:1.
