I am glad Naymar came to Europe, moreover to Barca. Now people will stop the unrealistic comparison of Messi and Ronaldo, and focus on some that are more realistic such as Neymar and Ronaldo. Messi cannot be compared to anyone, he is at least a level above everyone.

And to those saying Neymar will surpass Messi, I do hope so this happens while Neymar is at Barca. Imagine the deadliness of the team having Messi, and a player better than Messi in attack. We would rape everyone. PERIOD.

But considering the standards set by Messi, it seams unlikely to happen in this generation.

I have a prediction....

Messi will score less goals this season but Barca will win the CL and La Liga as a result of their other forwards stepping up to the plate due to the freedom the new manager is seemingly allowing them.

Why is it laughable? they won it 2 years ago with Mascherano and Pique at CB and two years before that with Yaya and Pique at CB.

The problem is not CB but the whole defensive structure and pressing lacking.

Also from what i have seen so far..... its only pre season yes but the forwards are getting a lot more involved and roaming about a lot more.

Seen games where Neymar is basically hovering around the box, the easy predictable attack of Barcelona is gone and i believe the pressing and organisation is back.

They still need a CB yes but its nowhere near as big as people make it out to be.

Also no team who has been in the Semi's of the CL for more than half a decade consecutively can be ruled out.
