Napoli targeting Matri - report

With news that Jackson Martinez’s proposed move to Napoli could be off, reports suggest that Rafa Benitez’s men will target Alessandro Matri.

Sport Mediaset have claimed that the Partenopei will turn to the Juventus striker, after their bid to sign the Porto man failed.

The Italy international has been linked with a move away from Turin this summer following the arrivals of Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez.

Premier League club Everton have been one of those sides supposedly interested, but the website believe that the San Paolo team could now be ready to approach the Old Lady.

Matri was used sparingly by Juve last term, starting just 10 times.
