Not a fan of this football, I won't lie. I'm not going to defend negative tactics, we improved when Kagawa came on though. However, I'm proud with the players fight they were disciplined and did their all today. Couldn't have asked for more.

FT 1-1 credit to our players. They played for the shirt tonight and can hold their heads up high.

Shame we didn't win. Never thought Id say that after the draw was made.

I think our defence was immense today, especially buttner. We all thought he would be destroyed by robben, but he held his own against hin tonight. Due to expectations, he gets my MOTM.

Fellaini was diabolical though. Should be nowhere near the pitch in a match v bayern. Just not good enough and was embarrassingly exposed at this level

Of only welbeck scored that chance. Aaargh.

They'll missing some key players next game, hopefully we can take advantage of that. And most importantly, we head to the 2nd leg with the tie still in the balance

I cant help but feel if we had a half decent Manager we would have beaten Bayern tonight .. for all their great football , and possession .. they dont have an out and out goal scorer .. and it shows in their play .. they hold on to the ball too much in midfield because they dont have that inzagi type player that would make them truly great ... defend in numbers and counter fast ... and you got Bayerns number ....

Probably at a sausage muncher anon meeting ( just kidding hans !!! ) But really tonight shows that Bayern are not invincible ... They are a great team , but weakness exists .. Play a high line and bayern might suffer because of an out and out striker .. They play a high line , but without a fox in the box , Welbeck is essential vs teams who plays vs us with a high line. Caused Bayern plenty of problems and while Dante is an upgrade on Martinez in the 2nd leg he's still a big liability at CB. Thought Carrick was excellent tonight which deserves a mention.
