How about Jupp Heynckes. That can be a perfect replacement by giving him a contract for a short period time,like 2 years. He is 68 years old now. Although he has told, this season he is not in mood to take over at some club, just giving this case, considering the world is full of up-side-down miracles.

Barcelona have chosen Celta coach and former Barcelona player Luis Enrique (43) as successor of Vilanova. He has a 3M buyout fee. [tv3]

Luis Enrique flopped at Roma and has only just arrived at Celta Vigo. Is that really a wise move?

How did he flop at Roma? They were 7th in Serie-A, 6th after and before.

He knows the club inside out, everybody knows him, I think it's a fine choice.

Jupp obviously the best choice amongst fans, but really cant see it happen, not from this Barca board Razz

Luis Enrique, not the best choice, but I get not the worst considering the situation...

Because his objective was to obtain European football and he didn't do that, because he lost nearly as many games as he won and was dumped out of the EL play-off round by Slovan Bratislava.

Well if you mean by flopping not reaching your objectives, that's fine I guess.

His objectives at Barca will be retaining the league and winning CL.
