What a mentality boss.
Like we were facing Bayern in the UCL final and led 1-0 till 89 th mnute. Moyes is sure 1 in a million.

Re: Manchester United 2013/2014 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
Alex Ferguson on Barcelona wrote:In each of those two European Cup finals, we might have been closer to Spain’s finest by playing more defensively, but by then I had reached the stage with Manchester United where it was no good
us trying to win that way. I used those tactics to beat Barcelona in the 2008 semi-final: defended
really deep; put myself through torture, put the fans through hell. I wanted a more positive outlook
against them subsequently, and we were beaten partly because of that change in emphasis. If we had
retreated to our box and kept the defending tight, we might have achieved the results we craved. I’m
not blaming myself; I just wish our positive approach could have produced better outcomes.
We lost in '09 by playing positively, but won in '08 by playing negatively. What does Fergie do in '11? Play positively again. It shows the type of manager he is.It might have been closer if we were more negative, but he knew that it wasn't the right way to do it. I wish Moyes was like this.

Re: Manchester United 2013/2014 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
Perhaps the most excited and anticipated match of the season.
due to myriad reasons.
Mata in the blood red of Manchester for the 1st time ever, our own dear Ole in the opposition dug out. Daehli probably starting against us.
k so here we go.
may be something like this I want to see today
--------- de gea -------------
rafael-smalling-evans--evra
------fletcher---jones---------
januzaj---kagawa----mata
---------welbeck--------
that is assuming rooney, rvp, are unavailable. and carrick is I hard out for a month btw
if they are indeed fit, then probably replace shinji with rooney and introduce rvp as a second half sub.
adnan can be given a rest as well. but i will pick him today rather than next week against a much more physical and nasty stoke. let valencia play next week. let him get his leg broken
After all the beep until now, an optimistic and refreshing restart to our fortunes may be. The redemption to scale the heights of top 4 kickstarts today I hope. Boy I cant wait.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wrote:“I have always had a great relationship with Manchester United’s fans,” he said. “Back in Norway, when we’ve been watching United games over the years, I’ve nudged the kids and said: ‘They are still singing about your dad.’
“I am not that emotional a man so it is hard to say how I will feel. You never know. Sometimes, it just catches you, doesn’t it? Like when you do your wedding speech.”

Re: Manchester United 2013/2014 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
Apart from RVP and Mata, that is an absolutely shit line up. Gets me depressed whenever I see Young and Valencia start for us, the quicker they eff off from this club the better.
It will be the same old dross of passing it to them shet wingers over and over again. I just hope they can get Mata involved as much as they can, cuz that MF is just.....
Sorry about the moaning.
With that being said, we should be more than good enough to beat Cardiff. If not, there will be hell to pay today.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer stood in the tunnel & shook hands with every single Manchester United player as they went out to warm-up.

Idk, if it's true, but I heard Nike wanted to go all out on our kit, instead of renewing with Arsenal at a better offer. That's why their new kit is Puma. It might be false, just rumours I heard.

Re: Manchester United 2013/2014 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
Btw The Telegraph is saying were in talks with other kit manufacturers as well
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-united/10603087/Manchester-United-put-their-shirt-on-new-65-million-world-record-deal.html
Manchester United expect to secure a world-record shirt deal worth in excess of £65 million-a-year within six months after handing Adidas, Warrior and Puma the opportunity to replace Nike as their kit supplier.
United’s £23.5 million-a-year deal with Nike started in 2002-03 and expires at the end of the 2014-15 campaign and no agreement has been reached on a new contract, despite the American sportswear giants enjoying a six-month period of exclusivity on negotiations between February and August 2013.

Re: Manchester United 2013/2014 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
imagine £65 million from Nike or whoever a year, then £52 million from Chevrolet that starts next season
£117 million per year from the shirt deals alone, plus all our other revenue
who needs a sugar daddy when you are a brand like this

Re: Manchester United 2013/2014 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
Confirmed by The Times
United are in line to secure a world-record kit deal worth as much as £70m-a-year, bidding war between Addidas, Warrior & Puma. [times]
It will be weird seeing the kit without Nike, if we don't renew, after so long. I wouldn't mind Adidas like the 80s but it'll probably be strange at first.

People can say what they want, but one thing the Glazers have done well is they've made us incredibly self-sufficient

Re: Manchester United 2013/2014 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
valencia is poor as usual...
why are we dropping back after a 1-0 lead i simply cant get. could have scored at least 1 more. and now cardif are very much in it.
plus our midfield is clueless and almost non existent whenever an attack is launched by opposition. will get a pasting against stronger teams if we wont get a midfielder in this last 2 days of window with carrick's injury. at least bring back powell. we badly need a good player there.

Honestly, we are so shit. Not even the class of Mata and RVP can mask it. This team needs a massive clear out.
