Re: which Striker?
Rooney.
Might be my personal bias but i prefer him over anyone else. He is complete in every way. Excellent finisher, excellent passer, great link up play. Can fit in our system really well.
After Rooney, probably Suarez.

Re: which Striker?
I chose Higuain just because it seems so likely that Rooney will stay at Man Utd at least one more season - and thus would be more expensive in terms of fee and wages. I've gone on at length in another thread about Suarez, so I don't need to keep talking about him now.
Honestly I would be very happy to see Arsenal get any one of Higuain, Rooney, Jovetic, or Jackson Martinez. (Or SES or Marco Reus. ) Any 20m+ attacker would probably end up helping the squad in big ways. I would not be pleased about Suarez for many reasons, as I think he'd bring so many problems with him & his gargantuan price tag. But I don't deny that he'd improve the attack as well.

Re: which Striker?
Agreed. Rooney is a great player but the additional resources that would be required to get him don't seem worth it if Higuain is available for significantly less.Chumlum wrote:I chose Higuain just because it seems so likely that Rooney will stay at Man Utd at least one more season - and thus would be more expensive in terms of fee and wages. Will anyone actually select Benteke as their first choice?

Re: which Striker?
I would go with Rooney. But I doubt United would ever sell off their assets to us.
We need a striker who can participate in the buildup. Not sure if Higuain does that. But then again, even if he didnt, I am sure he would still improve us.
Btw are we more of a counter attacking team now?

Re: which Striker?
Holt from Norwich city, Lambert from southampton or Michu would all be great additions to this arsenal team.

Re: which Striker?
1. Rooney
2. Higuain
3. Bitey
Rooney would be brilliant and my first choice, Higuain second because of his clinical finishing and proven goalscoring record. I would avoid Bitey, unless it means signing Benteke
