From what I've 'heard'

Casillas
Cafu - Nesta - Baresi - Maldini
Matthaus
Cruyff - Di Stefano
Maradona - Ronaldo - Zidane

From what I've seen

Casillas
Cafu - Nesta - Hierro - Maldini
Redondo - Vieira
Messi - Zidane - Cristiano
Ronaldo

It's funny how Barca fans use every possible way and thread to play down Zidane. that madness.

Out with 3 ridiculous names in that team it's not that bad. Anyone who seen McGrain in his prime knows how good he really was. I do agree that naming Jennings, McGrath and Keane in that team is ludicrous.

McGrain is extremely underrated, even in the UK itself. It is understandable that he played in Scotland all his career but probably Celtic's all time greatest defender.

A team full of great players but no balance at all, I`d have a defensive midfielder in there, possibly a box to box player as well which means only 2 of the 4 between Cruyff, Diego, Zizou & Di Stefano. No complaints with the defence but personaly I`d have Baresi in for Moore.
I also think a legendary number 9 would compliment either Pele or Messi better than they would each other, Van Basten being my choice as I regard him as the best number 9 in football history.

Something like this would be a perfect team for me (except for the fact that I had to put Zidane on the bench in favour of balance which makes me sad but I couldn't have him and Maradona in the same team)

Subs - Pele, Zidane, Best, Platini, Zico.

It's not like he has seen Pélé play so it's easier to bench him.

I think Van Basten-Messi or Van Basten-Pele is a better combination than Pele-Messi, that is all.

You laugh as if I`m putting Ally McCoist up there in place of Pele haha, Van Basten was 1 of the best players of all time and IMO the most complete number 9 there ever has been yet.

Also... I`ve seen a lot more of Van Basten & Messi than Pele, the footage I`ve seen of Pele tells me he`s good enough to be in this team without doubt, but so are both Marco & Messi so I went with them.

I class Zidane, Platini, Best & Zico as better players than Matthaus, but Matthaus is better for my team in the midfield with the players I have in the team.
