It wasn't anything like him and Buffon wasn't convincing either in the PK shootout.

Kinda sad to see the our generations 2 greatest keepers in a penelty shootout and they pretty much jump the wrong way in every penelty.

It made it a million times more enjoyable tho

Casillas has played 4 games in 5 months... he's obviously not at his sharpest right now. But he still managed to save Spain last night yet again during regular play. Very solid in the game and made a great save.

They key is to exude calm and confidence when you're a great keeper. The defense feeds off of that.

Keepers can make an educated guess as to where the ball will be going by reading the shooter's body language, right? I'm not trying to have a go at Casillas though, Buffon was the same in the shoot-out.

Casillas is very good at saving penalties normally. This time he didn't look confident at all. I blame Mourinho fu*king him up.

Casillas comes across is a ver nice man, controls his temperament and goes about very professional and quitely, I love that, often u get GKs who are too extrovert. He offers calm and is the best when hes at his best for me. Respect to him for sticking in there and fnally back out now.

Mourinho had his reasons and Lopez was great but still, Casillas all the way!
