yea saw this posted in the blue box on the chelsea forums, really embarrasing for the guy. Can't believe they called it out like that when they had him on the show that very moment, i would atleast have the decency to wait till after the show, damn.

And lol at him saying "bbc said it to get viewers" someone needs to remind him that bbc dont care about ratings since we pay them through the tv licence anyways

Both are obviously to blame. B&H should have told him beforehand, maybe even a day or two before the announcement so he could get his ducks in order. BBC, though, shouldn't blindside him with that on air. Even if he had known already that wouldn't be a comfortable conversation unplanned.

Did anyone actually pay attention to the clip? They told him about the release during a commercial break, not live on air. Of course they didn't leave him much time at all to process it but I'm fairly certain they made sure he felt ok with discussing it on-air before proceeding to do so.

The production crew told Poyet about it as Brighton released the statement publicly.

BBC then asked Poyet if they could discuss it at half time. He agreed.

What is the problem here?
