He lacks pace, Hoping it wont be an issue in the role he plays for the team.

Looks a traditional Spanish midfielder. So I'm not surprised that he doesn't have that much pace. I like him very much from the limited time he's played so far. I think he will be an important figure in our cup runs and 4th place challenge.

Going by Gerrard's quotes it seems Luis Alberto has been signed as our back-up/other creative outlet for when teams attempt to park the bus or Coutinho is out. It would explain why Rodgers is after a goalscoring CAM rather than a creative one now. That's a lot of pressure for the young lad, hopefully it drives him rather than weighs him down.
