What club should Isco join?
The decision
"Yes, there are offers on the table from both clubs," Isco told Spain's As sports daily. "Those are the two clubs that have shown the most interest. I hope to decide soon because I still have a contract with Málaga. I know that Manchester City and Real Madrid are both huge clubs. I hope that whatever I choose will be the best for me and for Málaga."Let goal legacy decide his best option

Shoud he join the newly refurbished project of Manchester City or the prestigous instability of Real Madrid? If I were him, I would go to Manchester City, there will be little politics, less compettion and he will be able to play in a protagonist philsophy of Manuel Pellegrini. At Madrid, Iker Casillas can sudeenly dampen his star. He has competetion from Ozil, Kaka, Modric and Di Maria, he will have to sub serve to an inferior player in Cristiano Ronaldo. He is the most talented Spainaird since Iniesta. His potential well is deeper than any other players at the moment.
For those who do not know what a poential well is, this is a picture below
A potential well is the region surrounding a local minimum of potential energy. Energy captured in a potential well is unable to convert to another type of energy (kinetic energy in the case of a gravitational potential well) because it is captured in the local minimum of a potential well. Therefore, a body may not proceed to the global minimum of potential energy, as it would naturally tend to due to entropy.
Isco's well is the deepest in world football at the moment. How deep will he go into his untapped potential? Only God knows. What I do know is that Real Madrid will hinder him and with Pellegrini, Isco is the only player that can challenge Lionel Messi in the foreseeable future.

Re: The decision
At Real Madrid he would start. Kaka's leaving, Modric is a CM and Di Maria doesn't deserve to start and could be sold.
Man City have Nasri, so would Nasri be benched?
Also with a Ancelotti/new coach coming in, hopefully our style isn't based around Ronaldo and counter-attacking.

Ronaldo has made it clear that he does not want to be a central forward. Ozil and Di Maria are still there and Ronaldo will always try to be a protagonist. Manuel has shown that he is more than capable of maximising his players talents.

Re: The decision
well tbh, the only one who thinks Ronaldo is a winger, is probably himself, he is basically already a complete forward.Clockwork Orange wrote:Yohan Modric wrote:At Real Madrid he would start. Kaka's leaving, Modric is a CM and Di Maria doesn't deserve to start and could be sold.

"I know that Manchester City and Real Madrid are both huge clubs
Now, if we just run this quote through the forum's "bullshit" filter, we should end up with.....
"I know that Manchester City are a rich club, while Real Madrid is a huge club
There we go

Re: The decision
Yeah, let's hope Madrid buy him and shunt Özil out wide to shoehorn a 21 year old kid into the side. DAT work rate on the wings with Ronaldo on the left and 60 minute Özil on the right. Oh, wait. But they'll buy Bale as well. So Özil to the bench then. Next year is Madrid's year in the hunt for La Farcima.

No, I don't always make points completely unrelated to the topic, but when I do I make sure someone's jimmies are rustled in the process.

jimmies un-rustled, just curious.
when people usually go off on tangents like that, it makes him/her seem obsessed.

Isco would play wide. He's shown he can do that. Plus he'd be coming infield and roaming around etc. Or it could be a 4-2-2-2 or another formation.
Hopefully we don't get Bale.

Re: The decision
There is no context where Manchester City are a big club I wish players would drop that soundbite and just say they want to go there because they get paid vasts amounts of cash, regardless of whether they actually do anything or not
