Bets stopped on Tevez to Juve

Reports continue to build that Juventus have agreed an £8m deal with Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.

The Argentine international is on the last season of his contract with City and over the past few days several Italian sources have suggested talks are at an advanced stage.

Sport Mediaset claimed on Wednesday that Juve had agreed personal terms with the 29-year-old and now certain bookmakers have stopped taking bets on the transfer.

It’s believed Tevez has agreed to a four-year contract with wages that will increase with each campaign.

However, the Daily Mail insists Liverpool are now showing an interest in the well-travelled forward.

I mean i'm glad he's probably coming. But it has to be to supplement Higuain or Jovetic.

He's out of shape, has a bad attitude and doesn't exactly immerse himself in the county. E.G. Can't speak any English and has been in the country since his West Ham days.

He knows Italian ^_^, I don't believe he is out of shape ffs under Mancini I would be out of life not shape

I thought he'd be ok language wise being Argentinian and all, just making the case he seems to lack effort off of the pitch.

Also, I guess Mancini is a hard man to work with judging by the B.S he says

if tevez comes, i believe jovetic wont come.

Tevez would be a good signing for you guys. His bad attitude and his physical shape would be get better as Conte would for sure set him straight, he just won't allow him to be out of shape. Also he has champions league experience, I'm not sure how many goals he has in the CL but he would contribute alot to the team

Saying that, I agree with abrakebabra, they would need another striker I feel

I think only 1 striker between Higuain , Tevez and Jovetic will come. This season we played with 5 strikers , 4 of which were rotated regularly and 1 was incase of emergencies. Next year we'll have Llorente, Vucinic and Giovinco for sure + a new purchase and then all there's left is for one of Anelka, Quagliarella or Matri to stay (here I'm hoping it'll be Quags to stay because I love the guy) .
