Aguero vs Cavani

Who would you prefer to have your team ? Or who do you think is the better player ?

They both have outrageous ability, can dribble, can play on the wings, are both extremely intelligent, have immense technique, are both very good goal scorers .

I think aguero is the marginally better player . 23 goals in 34 games in his first season in English football is pretty impressive .

If you are to use stats as arguments , you should tell the whole story imo.

since 2009 : All competions ( Goals/Games)

Aguero ( 19 in 54 - 27 in 41 - 30 in 48 ( England ) - 17 in 39 )

Cavani ( 15 in 37 - 33 in 47 - 33 in 48 and 38 in 43 )

Both are impressive to say the least but Cavani is the more prolific goalscorer.
Aguero is more versatile imo but not as prolific as goalscorer .

Depends of what player is needed

yeah, if i am putting a team together, i pick Cavani to lead my line and i find players to take care of the ball behind him. Kun's ideal position is way too unorthodox to me, it's difficult to fit him in traditional line ups and that's why he doesnt play with Argentina.

Nick you got your facts wrong. When fit Kun is an automatic starter for Argentina. This season he has played less for us because of injury problems, not because he's been benched.

Also both Cavani and Sergio play the same position: SS. Some people can't see past Cavani's height and size and assume he is best as a 9 but that's not the case.

I wouldn't say he's a SS but he is not an out and out striker. If you want to call him that in your lineup prepare for a whole load of tracking back

Yep, very much agree Ali. His work ethic is insane for a striker, he'd track back into his own box to help regain possession.

He's not an ordinary striker, and i dont view him as an SS. He's a special case imo
