New Killzone on PS4 is going to have dedicated servers apparently.

That is fantastic news for the PS4 in general tbh, if one of their first titles is going to have it then its very likely you'd imagine that most if not all PS4 online titles will have it also.

Bought Arkham Origins and it's boring me already. I only beat Arkham City a few months back, feels exactly the same. Gonna go into my backlog, I'll get back to it in a year or so if it's out for PS4.

He praised the writing and storytelling as well as the boss battles.

But put down the lack of innovation towards the gameplay says its very repetitive and samey which i kinda expected.

I'll probably pick it up when its dirt cheap but not for 40.

Yeah, that's my only gripe, it's more of the same, but I got it for free when I built my PC so idc.

With PhysX it looks awesome on PC.

If you look online you can find the PC version for less than 35 bucks. Nvidia gave out codes with new graphics cards and some people just sell them right away.

I've also been playing Beyond: Two Souls.

It's pretty good, I still prefer Heavy Rain but it seems like the controls, actions are better implemented in Beyond. Combat scenes are much better also.

couple of weeks ago, looks meh. story looks like a sci fi mess, reviews havent been very good either IIRC

doesnt pique my interest the way heavy rain does

Reviews range from bad to very good.

I can't imagine anyone who liked HR not liking BTS. Game play is better, more fluid, better implemented. The story is worse, part of the reason for that is it's told out of order chronologically, and there are some soap opera meh moments. But the story as a whole is pretty good(but not HR good).

It's definitely worth playing, but I would wait for a price drop though.

first review I was reading said that the PS3 version isnt that far off from the PS4 version, graphically a little blurrier and framerate wise. I don't think these early cross gen games will be hugely superior gonna wait for more reviews though, but I'm pretty sure I'll get it. Would be a good game to get in the bargain bin when I pick up a PS4 though, AC games usually end up like 15 quid by April

Yeah that's my plan as well.... get it when ever i get a PSQuadBrotherhood and by then most of the launch games i want will cheap as f*ck.

Even launch window titles like Infamous 3 will probably drop as well.

Uncharted 2 is the best game I've played on PS3 and a top 3 game of all time

This is a question to those who play COD/Battlefield on a console:

The next gen titles look really good and I'm keen on getting them but I never played an FPS on a console before. I play Counter Strike regularly on a PC and I fear that getting either title on a PC would hurt my skills in CS.

How is the experience like on PS3/Xbox? Can you aim well enough? Or do you wish you had a mouse?

It's pretty good. You can definitely aim well enough. FPS on PC will always be different. Mouse will always be mouse. but on console it isn't bad at all.
