Alright RedAlerts post gave me an idea. So we're spending around 100m this summer possibly a little more. The transfer committee have got their targets. Now the question is who would you spend the cash on and how would you improve us.

A few rules:
- assume Suarez is sold
- assume we have around 100-130m to spend
- you don't have to count Can, Lallana, and Lambert in your team, assume we haven't signed them.
- keep the prices for the players you'd want at a realistic figure.

CB: De Vrij or Howedes
Final third: Shaqiri, Sanchez, Reus, Jovetic?
Midfield: Hamsik or Gotze*


*Gotze as Pep apparently not impressed...

Can't get Hamsik, cry and get Kovacic

Kovacic won't start, but I think he can take the load off Gerrard and probably be his successor.

Where do I sign up to be in Liverpool's scouting system? Don't think you'll need much credentials to get in based off recent history, and I think I have what it takes.

So as we established before the window we probably should get a strong CB, a strong LB, now two 'WC' attackers (with Suarez leaving) and a midfielder or two for depth/push starting.

First team: Ricardo Rodriguez (30m), Max Kruse (15m), Lazar Markovic (25m), Mehdi Benatia (30m), Emre Can (12m), Rickie Lambert (4m)

For the future: Viktor Fischer (10m), Divock Origi (10m)

The sale of a few players to fund a bit over 130 (Coates, Aspas, Assaidi, etc.)

Buys: Alexandre Lacazette (17m), Mattia Perin (14m), Johannes Geis (8m lol, steal) and Fabian Schar (8m).

Net Spend: 2.5m.

Get in. Geis plays as a holding midfielder while Coutinho and Henderson are more advanced.

With Stevie leaving we need some midfielders. DM was a necessity even if Stevie had stayed. But now I guess we need a DM and a creative CM.

Anyways my slightly realistic team for start of next season after winter and summer transfer windows. It's not that ideal because I tried to include players that we actually have some sort of shot of signing imo. Otherwise Varane, Reus, Griezmann, Pogba would be heading the list
