PSG played better than Barca tonight, and probably deserved to go through.

Impressive squad building when u compare it to ManCity. 2 years they went from French midtable to on par with Barcelona. They will win it next season, no doubt.

They have spent their money A LOT better than City.

Nah they didn't deserve to go through. They were just extremely lucky and got unfair ref calls at home.
Also, people is acting like they destroyed us and they only had 2 real clear scoring opportunities.

Uhhm PSG is certainly not on par with Barca. The only reason PSG even managed a draw is that Barca's defense is non-existant atm. When Barca gets everything in order next season, PSG will be fodder.

PSG at its best couldn't even beat a limping Barca. Talk about overrating a team.

I'm sure the guys in charge of transfers have learnt their lesson. I'll be surprised if they don't a CB or two for next season along with a striker perhaps. Barca cannot continue relying on one guy for goals.

We have to go for a good CB , that's a must

PSG did great this year , nothing like Man City. But their problem is Ibra is aging so they would have to go for another WC striker soon . Same for the mid .

Much respect to PSG. They are a very good team and if they got hot they could have won this tournament. They missed A LOT of chances. They could have whipped us today and were by far the better team.

And yes they have spent there money much better then City and it's for one reason, they didn't spend dumb amounts of money on EPL and English players.

I'm pretty sure if Barca gets a striker who can actually score goals, Messi will be more than happy to vacate that spot and drop back into midfield once in a while. Right now Messi feels like he has to do everything by himself, since none of his teammates are contributing with goals.

They surely spent their money better than City, but admittedly I think it's more a case that Barcelona has fallen from their once great stature. They will never be a team to be taken lightly, and they could still win the Champions League, but that doesn't change the fact that they aren't the best team in the world anymore.

they have a terrific squad! but i don't respect oil owned teams as much as self ran clubs like madrid and bayern that don't rely on hand outs but none the less this is football in the 21st century

ibra has at least 5 more years left in him if not even more, because he doesnt rely on his stamina but instead uses his brain and technical ability.

as for PSG they proved this season that they are true CL contenders and were just extremely unlucky to have drawn us. i think that out of this years knockout round team pool, they would have advanced vs everyone else except bayern, us and maybe madrid.

Had barca had a fully fit Messi from the start it wouldn't have been close. He makes their attack.

Hopefully with Puyol, Mascherano, Adriano, Muniesa (?) out and Song not suitable to play CB, we will eventually buy a CB in the summer along with a striker! We will not cope next year if we don't buy anyone or convert players. Shame Bartra isn't playing as much, he looks to be a great future prospect!

impressed with PSG... they did what us milan didnt and couldnt do. play own game .... if only lavezzi and pastore didnt spur chances... their passing was great too.


PSG will be strong for sure. first season quarter finals in CL and leveling the performance against barca.. thats something they can be proud of and build foundation from hereon. impressive.

PSG really surprised me, and first time really get to see them for real, and as I read more they have earned more respect than just another big money spending club buying all the stars they want. If they continue they will surely become a top club in Europe which is good as they represent French league which is more attractive than Lyon and should become even better.

Thanks to those who praise PSG. Although i cheer for them only because of Ligue 1, it's good to see them do well. If they weren't around, Ligue 1 may have had to worry about Russian league and lose a CL place lol. That's one reason i'm happy about their success.

Another reason is that Ligue 1 needs money very badly and it needs a brand to carry it. Lyon tried, but fell on hard financial times. Once Lyon comes back and OM recovers hopefully, Ligue 1 will have 3 very good teams.

Final reason is that i want to be able to see great players when teams face Nice (closest stadium to me). TV is great... but seeing players live is something else altogether.
