Re: United winning the league at Emirates
Not an Arsenal fan but I probably would rather Utd winning the league after the match than having to put up with seeing RvP's smug face during the guard of honour, the 90 minutes of football and hearing the commentators talk about how it was a good decision RvP to leave the club every 5 minutes or so. Looks like Guard of Honour instead.
Can teams decide NOT TO DO IT?

Every media outlet will praise Van persie's decision and write sonnets on him. Arsenal's drought will be mentioned for the next few months (2000 memes for that) and finally 20 threads will be made on GL
Don't worry RG, I already have 1687 RVP memes ready for when they win the title at Arsenal.
That spoils the fun.

Re: United winning the league at Emirates
Our fans are generally quite respectful, so I don't expect them to boo during the guard of honour (should we do one) despite the animosity between the clubs.
Between them winning the league at the Emirates and a guard of honour, a guard of honour is infinitely better since it's just a consequence of poor timing fixture-wise.
Moreover, if United win the league tomorrow, that'll mean they'll have very little to play for in their remaining fixtures, which could work to our advantage.

They can still get the point record if they win out. So they have something to play for.

Re: United winning the league at Emirates
This could and will most likely work in Arsenal's favour now. We'll most likely and should win the title tomorrow v Villa.
So United will be going to Arsenal with their feet up on relax mode while Arsenal have everything to play for to get into the CL. Arsenal will most likely win next week.
On another note, Thank you Spurs and thank you to the world class Bale.

As long as we win against them, I won't give a rat's ass about the guard of honor.
