Melo still fond of Juventus
Galatasaray’s Felipe Melo continues to follow the fortunes of Italian giants Juventus. “I support them from afar.”
The Brazilian, who is still on the Old Lady’s books, joined the Turin giants in 2009 from Fiorentina for around €25m.
However, he moved to his present Turkish club on loan two years later following the arrival of boss Antonio Conte.
“He’s one of the best Coaches in Europe,” the 29-year-old stated after Wednesday’s 3-0 Champions League loss at Real Madrid.
“Juventus are too strong for everyone else in Italy, the championship is already theirs and I’m happy for them.
“I’m a Juve fan and I support them from afar. Despite their loss against Bayern Munich this week, La Vecchia Signora remain a great side.”

All joking aside Melo would have been great for our Catenaccio nightmare.
If he wants to be rotated I would have him back.

Re: Melo still fond of Juventus
he would have gotten his second yellow in the 65th and we'd be screwed all the same.
Besides, there is DEFINITELY no room for him.

Nah if we're rotating players Melo would be the Pure DM, Pogba can attack more and would probably take over from Marchisio when we rotate.

Imagine a back-up Midfield of Pogba, Melo, Asamoah and vice Pirlo.
I'd like Giac to be more of a wing-back back up.

Nainggolan for vice Marchisio, Veratti or Poli for vice Pirlo and Pogba for vice Vidal, quality, quality depth.

Re: Melo still fond of Juventus
I've always liked Melo even though I don't rate him really high, his character is probably too risky for our squad. But I'd welcome him at the bench, and he would surely be good for our squad spirit
But I've always said he was probably the best player in the squad @ his last season he played for us.. Too bad his other 2 seasons were terrible

Funny he says that right after being decimated by Real Madrid. A passive aggressive way to snake his way back into Juve?

Re: Melo still fond of Juventus
Probably is Arq, but I have a soft spot for the crazy son of a bitch and i'd take him back as rotation material for sure.
2010/11 Big Felipe was our best player.
Quags got taken out and Krasic dropped off to epic proportions after that, mainly because our only threat outside of the box came from one place so they shut down Krasic. Then I got to watch Marco Motta try and pick up the slack against a back 9

Getting a Red after dominating the opposition ffs
To be fair Melo scares away little, tricky attackers with fear of PAIN. Maybe he'll scare Giovinco away

Re: Melo still fond of Juventus
I still remember the game where he was subbed off before half time, he was so awful. I must say that I have a soft spot for Melo, though I would honestly be giving Marrone more time rather than bringing back Felipe Melo to rotate through the squad. Under the right coach and in the right mental state, he's excellent at what he does, however you never know when he's going to snap. I'd have retained him as a back-up rather than moving him on in the first place, but it's someone else's time now.
