I doubt they'll hold onto it and if they do get into the CL, they'd probably finish 3rd/4th in their group. However if they perform like Malaga and have a good group, then yeh...

I don't think they would be even able to make it into the group stage, depending on who they're up against. And if a Spanish club wins the CL, and if Malaga are banned and get 4th, wouldn't the 5th and 6th place team also get into the CL? it could actually be possible for sociedad to hold onto it then.
