Pandev: 'It's not my signature!'

Goran Pandev now claims the fax published by FIFA showing his vote “is not my signature” and continues to insist he voted for Jose Mourinho.

The increasingly bizarre saga of the FIFA World Coach of the Year award drags on, as Mourinho and Pandev suggested in public this week that votes for the Real Madrid manager were changed.

FIFA responded by publishing the fax sent by the Macedonian Federation – who were represented in the vote by Napoli striker Pandev – which showed a vote for Vicente Del Bosque.

“I don’t want to leave an official statement right now, because tonight we have an important game against Belgium,” Pandev told Calciomercato.com.

“I can only say that on that fax it is not my signature. Mourinho is my preferred candidate, everyone knows it.”

The Macedonian Federation is due to make its own statement tomorrow.

One thing that I don't understand is, why would Fifa manipulate the vote against the manager of Real Madrid when the president, Sepp Blatter, has time and time again said that he is a madridista?

Pandev is not a media clown or attention whore, we all know him in Macedonia he is modest and kind man who always has time for everyone altho all of the posters here have bad opinion about him. He is a true gentleman and cares a lot about the family and poor ppl in his city, I doubt he would say this if its not true, I trust Pandev.

So the Pandev is lying? Why would he do that?

FIFA published what the Macedonia FA sent them (I assume). If it is forged signature, then FIFA is just gonna direct the blame to the latter. I'm personally only looking to see how deep of a hole FIFA can dig themselves into.
