tongue I remember after his first game with Roma i said , can this guy ever score a goal? and he said it apparently and answered me and started scoring , despite his attitude that he himself know that needs work . His dip in form concerns many of fans specially in the situation that Roma has (Catch up game ) . I never believe that he actually wroth anything near his transfer fee but can he prove himself again and get his Sh together?

Looked good for Italy honestly.

The hate he's getting in Rome has crippled his confidence, as it has done for numerous players (Kjaer comes to mind instantly).

He's a bit arrogant it seems, as most good strikers are so I think the dip will subside eventually.

Despite the poor form. We know what he's capable of now so selling over one poor spell is very rash.

Ehh it's not the fact that he missed (which was bad enough), but he usurped Totti, who is our established penalty taker. You don't cross the captain like that in a game, especially with points on the line.

That's why he got so much hate for that. If he had scored, yes there would still be detractors, but then he could'e said "At least I scored it"...he couldn't even say that. It was a lose-lose situation for him.

NOOO please Roma NOOO. Not to Spurs. I rate Osvaldo highly and all Spurs are missing is a good ST. Would be bummer for us if they strengthened that department.

well apparently we are looking at Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to replace osvaldo , and douglas as a free agent and pazzella to reinforce defense , i wanted cassano and douglas and would have used lamela up front along with destro and ferrante

Ehh, I'd give Ferrante another season in the Primavera. Only his first major season with them.

As for Simba, his time has come sadly. He's segregating himself from the squad and the only players who do that are the ones who know they're leaving soon. This is the end for him at Roma. 10m is decent enough return considering we splashed 16m for him.

the prospect of a front three of aubameyana osvaldo and lamela is fap worthy. I dont see why roma want to get rid of him already, surely theyll regret losing a proper cf as so far destro isnt living up to the billing and seems risky to have rely on him as the CF. also from what ive read on here aubameyang is better when deployed on the wing rather than as centrally, but I could be wrong. either way, why is faith in osvaldo running out?

Well I think everyone just about agrees here that Osvaldo has been a great striker for us. It's mostly his temperament that has caused him problems here. The row with Lamela last season was a big indicator of the kind of personality that he has. The petulant red cards, stealing that penalty away from Totti this season was another one....as Franco Colomba put rather bluntly, Osvaldo simply isn't a team player. Destro, even in his limited appearances has proven to be more of a team player so that's why we will look to him when he gets fit.

As for PEA, judging from what I've seen of him with ASSE, he seems comfortable just about anywhere in attack. If we get him, I doubt we'd be chucking him out on the wing.

Personally, if we sell Osvaldo then Lopez needs to be given more time.

Daniel Levy does it again? That would be quite the pick up for Spurs. Now if we could find a way to move Ade.

Osvaldo, the latest addition to my list of players I never want to see in a Roma shirt again.

Bad temperament, not a team player, doesn't show any signs of drive or determination to be an important player for us. He had plenty of chances under Enrique, Zeman and Andreazzolli, but has never established himself. The quality is there, but nothing else.

I could look past the row with Lamela, that happens, and El Coco doesn't have a great temperament either. However, first he didn't join the rest of the team on their winter trip to the States. Then, he selfishly and stupidly takes the penalty away from Totti in Genova and blows it completely. The final straw was this week; picks up a yellow which forces him to skip the derby. But, instead of going to the Olimpico and showing support for the team in the most important match of the season, he decides to go to London for a nice weekend getaway. F*** Offf. Balzaretti wasn't even called up and he was still at the stadium, even though his wife who lives in Paris is much hotter than Osvaldo's.

Case and point, he's showed that he doesn't care and therefore I want him out.

Reports of a training bust up this week between Osvaldo and Burdisso, with the defender claiming that the other wasn't working hard enough. It was settled in the locker room after the match.

I'm not one to usually believe everything that's written, but this wouldn't surprise me.

Not like Burdisso wouldn't be wrong. Just giving voice to what we've all been seeing and thinking about him since that Genoa game and probably before.

Well done, They successfully made an enemy of the club, The stuff like that only happens at Roma. If someone write that I am shit in front of my house. I make sure to get back at them. The sad part is that instead of taking lessons, they hate the player even more.
