Top earners

I think these earnings are out of this world. What is lol to me is that Ronaldo makes less in endorsements then Messi. Although I agree Messi should make more I can't but laugh at mr popularity not getting more endorsements.

Beckham ‘to earn more than Messi’ this season
David Beckham will be the best-paid footballer in the world for the 2012-13 season, according to a list published by France Football magazine.
Former England star Beckham, who joined French giants Paris Saint-Germain from Los Angeles Galaxy on a five-month deal in February, will have earned around 1.7 million euros in salary for the season, plus a similar amount in bonuses.
Beckham famously waived his salary to join PSG, with the club instead donating the money to a local charity.
But including money earned at LA Galaxy, he will make a whopping 36m euros overall, as endorsements and other forms of external revenue dwarf his playing wages.
Four-times FIFA World Player of the Year Messi, meanwhile, takes home a 13m euro annual salary but makes a lot less than Beckham in endorsements, with his overall package totalling around 35m euros.
Real Madrid rival Cristiano Ronaldo is third on the list, with a total of 30m; he earns slightly more than Messi in wages, but has a smaller endorsements package, probably on account of his Portugal national team having a lower profile than Argentina, and Real Madrid's tendency to take a greater share of image rights revenue.
While none of the top five high earners play in the Premier League, six of the top 20 turn out for English clubs - the highest of any league, with Spain's Liga second (five players).
The world’s best paid coach is Real Madrid’s Jose Mourinho (14m euros), who comes in ahead of PSG’s Carlo Ancelotti (12m) and Marcello Lippi, who earned 11m euros when coaching China’s Guangzhou Evergrande in 2012.
Most surprisingly is the appearance of Kenny Dalglish in fifth, with an estimated salary of 10m euros. Dalglish was sacked by Liverpool after a poor league finish, but he did win the League Cup.
France Football magazine has published an annual rich list for the past 15 years, although many of their figures are based on estimates.

Not saying the King doesn't deserve it, but Dalglish up there seems to me a bit weird when you consider it's 2013 already...

Re: Top earners
I never realized how much money Neymar is making in Brazil. He never has to leave there. Let Oscar,Hernanes,Lucas,Hulk, and a Striker do all the heavy lifting and learning in Europe to take you over the WC hump. Then he can ride their wave to glory the way Pele did with Garrincha,Vava, and Jairzinho.

He complained but he never said why. Even then when he first signed with us him giving up a lot of his image rights was a pretty awesome for the club.

Who made this list? Eto'o makes 12M a year on salary, but according to the article 20 of his 24M comes from endorsements?

Given Dalglish is not currently employed as a manager that seems an odd inclusion.

France football magazine wrote this so I don't know of its true or not. I just put it up for discussion. Personally I don't trust any article form that country but that's just me.

Not unheard of that third parties pay for wages. I imagine that's the case with Eto'o and Neymar.

You don't trust any article from "that country" so you decided to start a thread about an article from "that country" on here?

Don't try to understand white star's logic. The only thing you will accomplish is earning a migrane.
As for the list it looks about right apart from Eto'o and Neymar. Those numbers seem off to me.
