Re: Where would the National team finish
England would finish top 3 in the EPL, Germany would win Bundesliga/finish 2nd, Italy would win Serie A and Spain would finish top two.

Re: Where would the National team finish
England would finish in the 4th place IMO,
Germany would win teh Bundesliga considering it's made of Bayerns and BVB's best payers plus Ozil and Khedira
Italy would win Serie A, they are basically Juve but with Balotelli and El Shaarawy
And considering Real Madrid's poor form I say Spain would finish 2nd

Re: Where would the National team finish
Italy practically play in serie A already.
But how on earth would it work, to make the National team for the respective league you'd have to decimate the biggest squads in the league and therefore you would be taking out the competition.
Example, Juventus would be crippled in serie A.
Bayern in Bundesliga
Barca and to a lesser extend Madrid in La liga.

You'd get more insight into this thread's topic from playing a few FIFA tournaments than trying to think this on paper.

Yeah yeah yeah, it's not a big deal and just for a bit of fun, but I can't see how you could ponder with any bit of realism how Spain NT would do against Barcelona and so forth...

Nt-football is worse quality than top club football, so by default somewhere above midtable.

But national teams don't have the luxury of playing with the same group of players for an entire year or so. I mean, when you think about it, qualifiers, friendlies and major tournaments are sporadic. A lot of the time you see different sets of players called up and players may play together 10 times a year, compared to 40-50 times in a top league (with all competitions considered). The quality of play would elevate in my opinion.
Anyways, I think Italy would comfortably win Serie A. The league's foreign talent is not what it once was and given that all of the national team already plays there it wouldn't be a stretch. Juventus with a better attack and probably better depth as well.

Re: Where would the National team finish
This thread would potentially be more interesting if you asked the question: how would your national team do in the top 4 leagues?

Re: Where would the National team finish
Germany and Spain would win their leagues so hard, it isn't even funny. Italy too, now that I think of it.
Germany is basically Bayern with a better defence, and Dortmunds great attacking duo, Spain is the best of Real and Barca combined, only Messi and Özil are missing who you'd really notice, it's not even that hard a question.
