He doesn't hadn't scored a goal in any competition since December of 2011 lol. I'm as stunned as anyone and i watch him often.

I don't watch Toulouse so I won't act like I know better, but I thought he was a high energy destroyer-like player, and that's what Newcastle was getting. He's playing a #10 role more than anything and killing it hmm Someone educate me.

He was that kind of player in Ligue 1 . It may have something with EPL's tactics ...

No... he was B2B player at Toulouse. Capoue is the DM. He played on the right side and provided support for Aurier. He's playing a lot more centrally with Newcastle. With Tabanou, Capoue and Ben Yader, he wasn't allowed to play centrally with Toulouse.

Kind of a Yaya type transformation, Yaya never played this close to goal before he joined City either.

Seems to be thing in England of playing these players behind the striker, Fellaini is used in a similar role too.

Okay can we agree that he was France's best Midfielder tonight? The right side of France is a wall with him tracking back and countering Shocked

While Pogba/Matuidi and Evra side is where Germany had all their success attacking.

Wouldn't mind having him at City. Replace Yaya and would be fine with him only showing up in big games Laughing

If you think he's going to replicate that every week you are in for a rude awakening lol.

He's fine when he has space to run into but most big teams won't get it as they'll face Park the bus teams every week.

Not to mention his end product is crap and trust me any team that buys him will find that out very quickly.

There's a reason that I don't give two shits if he goes and we are in the championship lol.
